Thanks. hope its not bad news.
We are still battling hard with the work we do, the last couple of months has been really busy with little time to breath. Here's our latest newsletter which went out a few weeks ago
http://www.childrenwalkingtall.com/Newsletter/2006-09-E.htm
We're still here and still doing our work with the children. On Tuesday we took 61 children to the beach with 16 volunteers, 2 parents and a 5 visitors. Everyone had a fabulous time, one of the highlights was the tug of war children vrs adults (we let them win (honest!))
As well as that we're currently wrapping christmas presents (already done 600 or more!), hoping to give 1000 out this year in Goa and then as many as we can get in Mumbai in the new year...
Many Thanks to all who have helped and hopefully see you all soon
HEY EVERYONE why not put an e mail round work saying instead of sending xmas cards to one another you are putting donation to CWT and encourage all your workmates to do the same???????
every little helps
Thanks for that, will let her know. We will be in touch early next year re arranging delivery to you.
Very pleased to hear that- we've just packed up our bag for everything to bring over for you guys- people have been very generous- we've even got a puppet theatre for you
The Xmas card idea is great... I have just spent the last 3 hours making a few Electonic Christmas Cards that you can send instead.... I hope you like them! Click here to see the 3 cards....

Hope you enjoy them, please add a link to CWT when you send them :o)
Hi Rob We met at Lazy Days on Wed 15 Nov. I said we had brought a few Xmas presents. Unfortunately, we leave on Monday morning so I will arange to leave the presents in some plastic bags behind the bar at Lazy Days and you can collect them next time you call in. Hopefully, we will get extra luggage allowance when we return in February and will bring some clothes and toiletries.
Great news that CWT is still going strong. Read that Calhorn will be taking a puppet theatre that has been donated brilliant news as I have arranged to run a puppet making day for CWT in Jan 07 so a theate will be really useful when the children put there puppets to use in any shows. I thinjk it will really help the children to use their imaginations and story telling.

Rob is off for a break for a few days. He should be back next week. (Freda permitting)
I heard that!!!! Yes I'm on holiday (way-hay!), it's been such a long time since I could chill and relax... I've come to Thailand, bit of a rush job but now I'm hear and it's just quite nice... Been on the beach, ate lots, done some swiming - it's been nice... I have to say it's a little like Goa (not as cheap though) but everything works.. Very quite at the moment which I found suprising... anyway.. Don't listen to Shermina, and definately don't listen to Sam the boater
Enjoy your hols Rob, see you in feb.... Need any cheese this year?
Shermina has asked me to post and say, yes please!! 1000 pencil sharpeners is literal!! they really need them, thanks
....oh and yes Rob we all listening to Samtheboater and taking it all in!!!! have a great holiday!! and see you soon
chilly
All the children get a present at christmas as well as a goodie bag with sweets, fruit, ballons, pen and pencils, last year the sharpened pencils made holes in the bags and sweets ect were falling out, you can imagine the trouble if some children had missing goodies, and the plan is to give out 1000 presents over 4 or 5 days,
Why doesn't anybody listen to me? Oh well... Thailand is good and enjoying the break, but find I'm spending more money than I hoped...
Perhaps a donation could be made through somwhere like gift aid, so they could be purchased now rather than last minute when people arrive for their Christmas holidays.
Any thoughts anyone?
