Pleased to say we found that CSM was very much better than we had even hoped for, we were in block 12 room 124 nice size balcony sea view only blocked by the Coconut trees and a very short walk to the Beach.
Room very clean towels changed every day, top bed sheet moved to bottom and clean top one every day. Room boys Gerome & Sandip were top class, will up load the bed art later.
Have found 28 things to do with eggs for Breakfast this was not a problem as we are not big on breakfast . the evening meals were very good Far better than I was led to believe but I do under stand that it's not to every ones taste when after we had a very nice meal a lady said that the food was disgusting :shrug

will do a hotel review later for the record.

Totally agree with you regarding Sandeep & Gerome, each time we have stayed there we have asked for them as our room boys. They always do a great job & are both very pleasant young men.

glad to see that someone agrees with me about CSM at last. it seems we had the same room too, perhaps its the only good room in CSM ????
and of course we had sandeep and jerome, really good towel art. some times though they used my wifes clothes to further thier artistic talents, which i have to say didn't nessasarily please her, cos that didn't worry how much they creased them!!!! ah well you can't win em all!! :shrug

yep it is amazing how you can make an egg breakfast so much different each day isn't it. thats the exiting first part of the day, guessing what it'll be!!!!

Thanks to you Bob We went with a positive attitude and a open mind and you were spot on, the new owners have been round and are going to re lay the floor in the dining area plus some other changes, Nick at the bar wasn't sure what other changes were going to be made but hopefully they are going for it, Haven't got one complaint.

Just got back today, didn't stay at the CSM this time but really looking forward to it in November. Thanks for all the positive comments.

i was there last month and if i could find a tour operator using the csm next year thats where i would be going, food was ok and we didnt have a bad tummy once!! i would definately recommend it

We stayed at CSM, this year and last year - the only noticable difference was the lack of entertainment this time round and a few staff members had left, but Nick was still behind the bar and promises to be there next year!

Having said that, we had a great time, met some great ppl and if the price is right next year (which i doubt - hotel prices in Goa seem to of risen of late), will be returning to CSM with our children.

Gimme a Pina Nick :p

Stayed at CSM for the past 2 years and personally i thought the food was better last year, one thing i will say is that they make a mean soup in the kitchen, found also that food was in some cases luke warm. Nick at the bar seems to think that it will only be B&B next year.
