Yes i booked with Eclipse on line then i phoned them and told them its our Anniversary while we are there

There said we will receive a free basket off fruit which is a nice gesture.

If we get it or not its another thing

But its nice thought any way

Cant wait to go now was nervous at first but after reading all reports and looking at pictures I'm quite exited now.

hi celine,we also had the basket of fruit as a welcome back gift,it was lovely gesture but we never got to enjoy it as when we got back from the pool the next day it had disappered.we found this quite funny and were wondering who's table it was sitting on now.the moral to this story is if youve got it eat it.....

It wasnt our anniversary , when we had the fruit and biscuits, it was a nice gesture from the management with a card welcoming us back again, a really nice touch, but this is what makes you go back again, we also had select rooms with the cleaning in the day and towels changed again at night and the bed turned down, it was lovely to come in after having a few wee wines to have that done, also fresh towels for your shower in the morning.

Going to Coral Sea end of April

Hi All,

Going to Coral Sea for the first time 26th April with First Choice. Anyone else going same time? Can you hire fins anywere in the hotel? Also is there a pharmacy on site that might sell the stuff (Antinal) to stop tummy bugs? Spent a week in another hotel in Sharm a couple of years ago and came down with the nasties so this time we would rather be prepared just in case! We chose this particular hotel because people seem to like returning to it, and we have read some good reports, any tips and advice would be welcome

there is a pharmacy on site that sells those tablets. my daughter had a dodgy tum last year and these cleared her up a treat. don't recall seeing fins but i do recall something on the beach that may have had things to hire.
main tip i would suggest is to get the mini-bar emptied on arrival and then store your water in it. if you put a piece of card in the slot on the wall that you put your key in it will keep the electric on for your airconditioning etc while you are out.
we didn't tip the waiters until the end of our first week as we wanted to see how they treated us without it. we found them to be excellent and treated us really well that first week so the tip was well earned.

I've just got back from Coral Sea, 2nd time, love it, and yes there are fins for hire. You can get them from the wooden cabin on the beach. Mask, snorkel and fins cost me 30 egyptian for the day (£3). Or if you plan to use them a lot, you might be better off buying them from the shop near the irish bar. Snorkelling of the end of the hotel jetty is excellent. Loads of fish within 100 metres. You'll love it.
