Hey, Hey, Hey, it's weigh day Lost 1+3/4lbs. Gon on hols on Wed. and I'm 7lb behind target.
What worries is me that we are all inclusive so I'll come back carrying at least another half a stone which means harder dieting for the summer hols

Weighed last night and I have lost another 2lb :D. Very chuffed and well pleased with myself. Im chasing my next mini target now - 2 stone.

hi sarah, that is brilliat, i still havnt started, the problem is i am good all day at work but as soon as i come home i eat everything in sight, are you going to slimming world classes or just doing it by yourself ? i was thinking of joining their online membership, but not sure if that would work as no-one would be weighing me ! I really will have to get started but finding it really hard just now.
I like the strictness of having to go to a class each week. Its part of what keeps me motivated, that and fitting into all my smaller clothes which is so good 8).

Got weighed last night at WW & only lost 1/2 Ilb, last week was my first weigh in & lost 3Ilb. Extremely disapointed however I'm going to stick to it (was very tempted to have a bottle of wine & toblerone).
Going away in 8 weeks desperatly need to lose a stone. Going away this weekend so going to have salds friday, Sunday, Monday & just eating out on Saturday.

Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Haven't touched a packet of crisps or a chocolate bar for about a month now. Also stopped eating chips a couple of weeks ago and cut right back on the bread. Starting to run out of ideas of things to eat. I seem to be living on salad, jacket potatoes, soup, cereal and fruit. I'm also doing a little exercise regularly and don't seem to be losing any weight. The disheartening thing is, I'm only after losing up to half a stone but getting nowhere. Anyone know where I'm going wrong? Help
I honestly don't know because I've gradually cut things right out of my diet too, I'm just thinking that it takes time perhaps. don't want a quick fix for holiday, I want to have a lifestyle change so that my only problems in the future are the odd half a stone put on over a period of indulgence.
So the wine has gone, the crisps I haven't touched in 2 months, cut down on pasta and potatoes and replace with veg. Ah well!
Great news for those of you who are doing well though!
Ameliajane - ½lb off is better than ½lb on. Dont give up so soon after your first weigh in. Stick at it. It might just take time for your body to start showing results. Its hard when you want to see them straight away but I can assure you that they will show if you keep it up everyone.

Weigh in was Tuesday and I lost 2lb Really chuffed as I had eaten out 1 night. On my way to half a stone.
It is certainly true that you can sometimes not eat enough, I had a bad week last week not feeling very well hardly ate anything and put 0.5lb on.

Hi - just the 1lb of this week but I now the lightest (relative term!) I've been for 2 years and still on target for August
I wasn't planning on going on holiday this year, so I haven't really been putting much effort in. But I have had an awful year so have decided that I need a couple of weeks in the sun to relax.
I have lost about half a stone since the new year, but it's all stopped now.
If I give up the booze it should start kicking in again.
Not that I am a lush you understand but a glass or two (sometimes 3 ) of an evening seems to be my down fall.
So if it's OK with you I'd like to join you.
I have 11 weeks tomorrow till I go away.
Half a stone would be amazing, but it might be asking too much

Had a strange (but nice) diet day today. We took our daughter to the beach (not perhaps the best day weather wise but it was ok - got sand blasted and managed to bring half the beach home with us ). Anyway, I had a half bag of seaside chips - OMG they were to die for Im in heaven . Have counted them as syns and hopefully they wont make too much of an impact on those scales on Tuesday. Honestly, they were so nice I dont care much they were such a nice treat (but ask me tomorrow ).
Have a good bank holiday tomorrow and for the rest of the week everyone. Will check in later.

Welcome aboard, I've only got two weeks left till my holiday. It's been a realstruggle this year. Still had 5pound to lose last week, get weighed tomorrow so fingers crossed.
I've been trying to loose half a stone since easter
OH MY GOD, I've put weight on, 2lb, , but hey it was my birthday on Friday, so half a stone to go in 12 days, it's gonna be a real struggle
I stuck again
It's my weigh in tommorrow & I'm going to die (slight exageration) if I don't lose at least 2lb. Just been away for the weekend & stuck to diet 100% infact had pedometer on & walked over 20,000 steps on both saturday & sunday over 16,000 today.

I have set myself a challenge Along with losing weight I am giving up drinking (to help with the weight) and giving up smoking.
