Hi, i've got 6 weeks tomorrow till my hol and I just can't get motivated to lose my half a stone! :( I know if I don't lose it I will be so annoyed with myself on the plane. Maybe I need to go and try on a bikini in the shop, wonder if that might get be motivated!! :?:

Morning all :wave Hope everyone is feeling well on this very sunny Wednesday morning :)
I had a good weigh in last night. I lost another 1.5lb :). Even despite not dieting at all at the weekend, this was pretty amazing :? The wedding was lovely. My sister looked stunning and the weather on Saturday was so lovely, it felt like we should have been on a beach somewhere far far away. I didn't go mad but did eat what I wanted, drank what I wanted (although I did stick to vodka and diet coke) and ignored the syn value of everything. I have to admit though, that I did stay well clear of the chocolate fountain - too much temptation :roll: .

Hopefully, this wont boomerang back on me next week and I gain anything significant. I have 3lbs to go to reach my first personal target (the 10% body fat/1½ stone mark - all in only 9 short weeks, which is then halfway to my 3 stone goal.) and I intend going all out to get that next week.

Great stuff, glad everybody is doing well.

Marie, I know what you mean about motivation, I've had none all year and then I've been going through a bit of a bad time lately and something has made me manifest this into giving up booze (okay it's only been two weeks!) and getting back to the gym rather than my usual option of thinking 'what the heck' and comfort eating and drinking.

Keep reading this, these girls will help cos they have me!

I don't weigh myself though so have no idea if any of this is coming good, and I have left it a little late but the little I am doing will hopefully mean a slow, steady weightloss that will become the norm so long as bad habits are not slipped back into. Oh yes, and I gave up crisps for lent (previous habit of 4 - 6 packs per week) and have not had any since lent finished which I'm pleased about. The temptation has gone it seems!

hi sandc, are you still taking the kuzu and is that why you are loseing wheight. i cant be bothered to take mine so not lost any weight to speak of. i so wanted to lose a stone as my daughter is comeing home from australia on 10th may after being there for a year.

May I ask what "the Kuzi" is. Sounds like it's something that helps you shed the pounds.
Started on my healthier eating plan and doing a "little" exercise as opposed to none. Everytime I start to lose heart I keep chanting the word "bikini" to myself. I hope it'll work in the long run.

Started exercising for the first time in 10 years 3 nights ago - first night thought i was going to take a heart attack, last night it was a tiny bit easier, tonight even more easier (dont get me wrong, only doing a few of each thing!) but am determined to get my big belly abit smaller - i have one of those shelf bellies you know what i mean! yuk!

hi shirly h, kudzu are herbal tablets from holland and barratt that take away your cravings for alcohol and if you do drink with them you dont drink as much.also read they are good for menapausal women but cant remember why. must be the menapause. :rofl

Hi jack, I was a bit too erratic with the kudzu. I had a month's supply that isn't even half finished because I'd take one then forget and ended up not really doing it properly. So it's not down to them! I have read that they do help though (with mine you take them two per day with food).

Great to hear that everyone is doing well.
I lost 2lb when I was weighed at SW onTuesday night :wink: That is 3lb in 2 weeks ,so feeling good. Have not included any exercise yet though.

Think I'll give them a miss. Need something to stop the food craving rather than the alcohol.
I'm sure I'm getting bigger rather than smaller and I'm being fairly strict. Already lost my craving for crisps as I haven't eaten them for so long. It's quite off putting- not getting results early on. Still I'm sticking to it and hoping for the best.

lost another pound this week so i am now over the 2 stone barrier
Want to lose another stone before hols as my first target then another before xmas so still a long way to go , but I am already down 2 clothes sizes :D

we have just done our hall stairs and landing what a horrendous job as i have extremely high ceilings and some of the drops were huge, walls so old had to put on thick lining paper and paint it, we have painted dining room this weekend, just put the house up for sale hence the decorating lol and im so fed up of it now, 1 mth of decorating inc all over easter grrrr,

well ive lost only 1 lb this week, 19 now but im hoping all this weekends work will show next monday like it did the previous week lol

Ellie-Meg. How long have you been on the dieting lark ? Are you following a diet through a club or on your own ? You appear to be doing really well either way. Well done.

And I have to say it because I am an eternal optimist (yeah right :roll:) but please dont say "only" a lb :). A lb off is a lb less and its better than putting it on again :wink:.

Have a really good week and hope the decorating pays off for you.

im doing it myself hence the slow weight loss, not going mad just trying to eat more healthy, so just slowly losing it, i started beginning of feb so about 11-12 weeks i guess. i know if i had joined a club and gym etc i would have lost double this but im happy plodding along on my own, ive had a few naughty weeks lol, but i know i do need to do more exercise this will help a lot to increase the weight loss

Hi

Five weeks this Wednesday till holiday time, and still no will power. Came home this morning after taking the kids and just scoffed like man! :(

Going into town tomorrow, maybe if I try some clothes on it will help. Any day now I need to start being really good, i'll be so angry if I don't shift a few lbs. I'm not really overweight, its more of a comfort thing really, I know I feel so much better when I'm half a stone less than I am now.

Someone send some willpower my way please!!!! :?
