Hi coolfin. Sa Coma is a very child friendly resort so you don't need to stay on the complex every night.

We arrived back yesterday(16THMAY07) from Palma airport and we found a smoking area in gate A near Burger King, near the paper shop, admittedly it was reeking with fag ash but it was a smoking area with an extractor fan,and quite a big area.
Couldnt believe my eyes though when a couple awaiting the arrival of flight ezy3212 to Stansted took both there kids in prams in with them,I thought that was real bad parenting and probably illegal!

Hi CBG

Guess I'm a bit late to say happy hols but your holiday seems to have come round so quickly. Anyway, if you do manage to log on whilst you are over there - hope you have lovely time and I'm looking forward to hearing your findings when you get back.

Cheers :glynis

Hi Lesmac. Mum and I were in Palma Nova last week, which is right next to Magaluf, and had a fantastic time. I've been to Majorca loads of times but it was mum's first time. The Sol Guadaloupe is a good hotel and only 5 mins walk from the beach. Not sure how old you are, but we found a pub very near the hotel, (on the roundabout opposite the Britannia pub) called the Piano Bar, which was full of people our age (in their 40s upward). It was a great atmosphere, everyone having a great time - make sure you give it a visit. Also, you are within walking distance of the Pirates Adventure which I am sure you will have heard of from using this forum. It's a good night out if you fancy doing something different for a couple of hours, and it isn't just for the children.

Hi, we got back from Palma Nova yesterday, only one cloudy day. Stayed at the Lunamar apts. Our first time here but will definitely go back, its a lovely place but I think it would be too busy for us in high season.

Hi CBG

Glad you had a good time :P . Had a look at your hubby's photos - very nice but where are you? :?

Did you happen to notice if there were any good turns on in the Sur (Pago)? I go in August and my mum's staying in the Moreyo (we left it too late - not enough rooms left so we're in private apartments) but no doubt we will be having a drink down there.

Is Toni still working at the Hotel Cala Bona?

More questions later no doubt but I think that's enough for now!

Love Karen

I am on one of the photos just on the side. The same entertainment as last year at the Sur(Pago) Neil Diamond , Guitar etc A good "Robbie Willams"was on at the Cala Bona hotel. All the same staff at the Cala Bona, Hector still in the Moreyo, and the lady in "Pireo" shop, Time stands still in Cala Bona. Best Holiday for a long time. Weare having short break to C'an Pastilla in September (so hubby can photo Palma to death!!) August will soon be here iyts June the end of this week. Regards CBG

Back from Cales de Mallorca late thurs nite 31.05.07
Had a smashing time, though had MEGA storm 1 day for 3 hours straight down like a waterfall, but that cleared air.
Had quite a breeze whole holiday, this very welcome as temps hitting 90

CDM is great for a relaxing time, but not really a base to work from.
Most places AI, we stayed in club cala romani, so spent most time there (see hotel review). Very quite out of high season, but plenty of shops bars n clubs if u dont want 2 stay in hotel

Will return 1 day as price was FANTASTIC, people were great...
no hooligans, minimal noise, less than an hour from airport..
