hiya Rachie B the primark bags are great i have the purple holdall and the new kinda gold flower one my daughter has the black and red flower one and the black and white patterend one. They are massive and look really good they cost £6

I plan to use it in august as hand luggage and it is well within the sizes. I recon I could cram loads in it good for the return flight with all the trash the kids buy.

Well I hope you all have something to identify them by. You should of seen them all going round the carousel this morning, people were picking up other peoples, really confusing.

Anyone know when Primark and the other high street stores will be starting there summer sales? I have a horrid feeling I will be going on holiday before the sales!!

i like that one although they are abit overpriced seeing as they are from primark & they are around £6 in the shop! might get it, not sure yet.

I don't think Primark really has a "sale" like other stores. They have such a fast turnover of stock all year round and any leftover items go on a "reduced" rail to clear them out, but this can be at any time of the year with no guarantee of anything decent left over.
As for the other stores, it all depends on how well they're doing - if turnover is slow they'll start the "sales" early to pull customers in.
common? I think not fashionable is the word that springs to mind have you not seen them in all the magazines? And why would anybody put them on the carousel, carry them as hand luggage and you wont lose it. Seven of us are going away in august, four of us have different patterned ones the others 2 are men and 1 ten year old so far we can talk them into taking them or we would look like the magnificent seven striding through the airport

got loads of vest tops etc very happy
also dont know if anyone likes "fat face" but they have a sale on now but if you go online the things are a lot cheaper

Thanks for the advice on "Fatface" I love the stuff from there...I'll be checking out the website.
Also, yes I went to Primark in Leeds today and they had loads of summer gear for a £1 ....it also means as its so cheap you can leave it at your Hotel and pack more cheap booze and cigs in your case on your return

Oooooh - a sale at Primark! Just got back from Ibiza and a lot of my stuff now has stubborn suncream stains, so I'll go and have a look tomorrow for some new things to take away next Easter. Not been to Primark for oooohh at least 4 weeks, so I'm starting to feel "that" urge again 
I could do with some more white shorts. I got some lovely white jeans-style knee-length turn-up shorts there for £6, wore them for a couple of evenings on holiday with dressy tops, then wore them in the day and got suncream and drinks on them
Now they're yellow and no amount of soaking, Oxy-ing, and hot washing will get them white again, hopefully they'll still have them, and I'll take more care of the next pair

Well, they didn't have any of my nice white jeans-style shorts left but I got some reduced white tops which I can get nice and yellow next time... Loads of lovely autumn stuff in, spent a fortune on my "new look", but didn't get much holiday stuff, although there are plenty of vests, beach skirts, t-shirts etc if you're off on a last-minute hol in the next couple of weeks, even some reduced swimwear, but mostly in either tiny or huge sizes, all the "average" sizes have sold out.
