Yes I bought a tie there the other day. Very reasonable price too !!
Never got to primark after all, but passed it loads of times on the hop on hop off bus, I even took a photo of it to show my daughter how big it is. I was envious of people walking about with those posh bags Never mind, had a fantastic weekend anyway and we are hoping to return to London later in the year, so a visit to primark will be my no 1 prority.
Nice to know you had a great time Jackie. Its always an excuse to go shopping and return to London cos you need to visit the big Primark
As usual, lots of nice jewellery and belts. Some nice sunglasses too - and for £2 it doesn't matter if you leave them on the sunbed and sit on them (speaking from experience...)
Have to say, not over-impressed with the swimwear range, some of it was nice but a lot of it did look a bit cheap this year. Found a lovely white bikini with gold "chain" print on it but the cup size didn't seem to increase with the size of the bottoms, and I don't think my boobs would have been very well "contained" in it... Also, I've had gold-print bikinis from there before and the gold has worn off with sweat, suncream and swimming.
also my awkward teenage son even got some cropped trousershort thingies lol
bikinis are for the skinny gals need to get some weight off first before i venture into that section
Few pairs of shorts each only £2.00 a pair, t-shirts £1.50 each nice velour jackets £4.00 each short sleeve aswell so ideal for the night times if it gets a bit chilly,I can't believe how cheap this shop is , I love shopping in there and I can't wait to go back for more holiday clothes it gets me in the holiday mood
I remember wearing them years ago when they were in fashion and loved them then. They do them in various colours aswell and all the other shops were selling them for £25 practically the same shoes.
Got a nice multi-way bra aswell for £4 with an extra set of see-through straps...........you just cant go wrong in this shop.
Anyone going on their hols soon get yourselves into Primark you can pick up your holiday wardrobe for next to nothing.

will not spend more than Primark-price for stuff which will only ever be worn on holiday, especially as all the shorts she got last year are now too tight - she was a gangly 14-year-old last year, now she's nearly 16 and has "filled out" a bit - apparently it's my fault because I keep buying biscuits...
We have an Internaçionale near us - excellent shop, nice fashions, similar to New Look but closer to Primark-price.
Ooooh gladiator sandals for a tenner! Hopefully I'm taking daughter to "do a Primark" on Sunday, so I'll have a look out for those. Daughter needs a few pairs of shorts and some tops for Crete in August and I We have an Internaçionale near us - excellent shop, nice fashions, similar to New Look but closer to Primark-price.
wish me luck !
They give you your stuff in those cute little brown paper bags with the string handles now.....which are nice but unfotunately say Primark on the side.......my teenage daughters take their Jane Norman bags and transfer the stuff into them........kids,lol......I'm proud to be seen with my Primark bag

Was in the Nottingham one last weekend. Bought a lovely black and cream sundress for £12, also a couple of vest tops. They had loads of sandals I fancied. I've left them for another trip
I was there yesterday, and for the first time ever I came out empty handed. The clothes all looked cheap and tatty. There was around 20 people queueing for the changing rooms and even more at the tills. Mind you I was in town for 5 hours, and the only thing I bought, was a dress for my daughter for her holiday to Turkey on Sunday. Perhaps I just wasn't in the mood for shopping - I can't believe I said that
4 vest tops ( with boob thingy in them) a pair of shoes, a cozie ,5 pairs of socks and a pair of three quarters for me, and 7 pair of trainie socks for one of my boys.
All that for £ 37.00 I might of missed something out because i swear i had more than that.
I love that place its BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!

us 3 girls went a couple of weeks ago to get kitted out for holiday and i spent £183! how on earth did i do that in primark, mind you we had 4 large bags full!
Anyway, after a slow (and sulky) start she got "on a roll" and chose three pairs of denim shorts, five tops (two of which she says she'll wear with friends at weekends and not just for holiday), a bikini, a pair of strappy flat shoes, a nice scarf, two pairs of sunglasses, a bag, and loads of jewellery and hair things.
So that's her holiday sorted! I'm back in there next week, while I'm still off work and she's back in school I don't actually need anything but I can't resist a mooch
I love primark. My friends and children now insist on calling it "PRIMARNI" as it has become trendy to shop there. Our nearest one is 45 miles away in Norwich, but when I go to London with work I make a beeline for the Oxford street one. So while my colleagues are all off having a nice meal, I make do with a burger after getting my Primarni fix
