Seat pitch is pretty much standardised, 28" is the minimum for charter airlines. I think one problem with the Airbus' is the life jackets under the seats are a bit lower than on equivelent Boeings. This may give the impression of less legroom when you try and stretch your legs under the seat in front. The pitches are the same though.

MYT055 from belfast

I read earlier in posts that this flight calls at Belfast from Glasgow? We are traveling 24th August and noticed that Mytravel do not seem to have friday flights from Glasgow to Sanford in august, or are they just not on their site because thye are booked up? Does this mean this is direct from Belfast? Can you find out what type of plain it will be for me and also what seat configuration it is?

Are you on the MYT065/6 service? If so, they're currently using a Boeing 767-31K. Have a look at my previous posts for more information.

says on my invoice MTY 055/ MYT 056, I seen your previous post ref MYT065/66 from Glasgow which stops at Belfast to pick up. Is the MYT055/056 in August still the Boeing767-31K?

ACARS is showing MYT055/6 is being operated by a Boeing 767-31K at the moment as well.

I just got an email from a guy who just flew with them from Glasgow on this flight he said it was a 767and he said it was 2-2-2 in premair overhead tvs but they got hand held tvs and he sent me pictures,

now i am comfused.

hi, booking a holiday to fuerteventura through direct holidays, flying on my travel from gatwick 18/8 rtn 1/9, i am unable to find out what the luggage allowance will be.........can anyone help? also what type of plane is it and will it have seat back tvs, and how bad is the leg room...as we normally fly first choice, and have just returned from turkey and had premier seats with loads of leg room ! Thank you

your luggage allowance will be printed on your tickets when you get them. It'll either be 15kg or 20kg depending on the booking + 5kg hand luggage. Have you got a flight number? It's difficult to predict in the school hols because they upgrade some flights to larger aircraft. It's normally an Airbus A321-200 but they sometimes send their larger Boeing 767-31K's (they used these last summer). They don't have seat back IFE I'm afraid unless you are really lucky and they send an A332. Seat pith on the A321 is 28", the 767/A332 is 30".

Darren regarding the aircraft being used by Mytravel 767-31k from Belfast how many seats does it have and is it 3 and 3 my wife is asking questions i can't answer any info would be grateful.Haddy.

The Boeing 767-300 is a wide bodied aircraft with approx. 320 seats configured 2-4-2 with 30" seat pitch in economy.

We fly from Birmingham to Luxor on Wed 18th July going with airtours any idea what kind of plane we will be on, what seating plan and where the television screens will be flight numbers are tom4721 going and tom4722 back, only problem is staying in Hurghada so long transger :cry:

your flight is operated by Thomsonfly. The aircraft will be a Boeing 757-204. Click here for the seating plan. Seat pitch is 28". IFE is provided via ceiling mounted screens.

Darren - we're flying to Alicante in August with Airtours, yet are flying Air Malta, not My Travel. Any idea of what plane this will be and seating plan ie 3-3 or 2-4-2. Also, any idea why they dont let you prebook seats?

They normally send an Airbus A320-200, but sometimes a Boeing 737-300. Both of these are configured 3-3. You can't pre-book seating because the flight is operated by Air Malta and not My Travel.

I'm off for a long weekend in Spain in the morning :hyper

Can anyone tell me if MY Travel operate a "Twilight" ckeck in from Manchester. We Fly early in the morning (To Faro) and may be staying in a hotel close to the airport over night. It would be nice to get rid of the cases so we can relax a bit.
