mobeckwith,
I forgot to mention seat pitch 28". If you get to check-in early enough, ask if you can have 2x3 or a full row of 3-3.

I been looking for ages but I found the inflight entertainment page I presume first choice and eclipse show the same films . Trouble is I am not going to Dominicain Republic till the 8th of july.
Can any one tell me what rows to avoid(check in staff willing ) if we want to avoid being just by the toilet.

That listing was from last June.
Blimey "how was I clever enough to find that" I bet I could not do it again
Toilets on FCA's Boeing 767-300/ER's are located at the front of the aircraft (row 1), at the front of the star class cabin by the L/R2 doors (row 11 I think it is) then at the rear of the aircraft (behind row 39 from memory). All seats are pretty much the same but if you want to avoid the toilets, try and get a few rows away from the above.

Does anybody know what plane will be flying on FCA Manchester to Dalaman (Turkey) and what the seat config will be. Also, as it's shorthaul presume it will be over head screens.
Fly out Thursday 21st.
Sam
Your flight, FCA654 departing from Manchesters Terminal 2 at 15:55, arriving in Dalaman at 22:10z, will be serviced by a Boeing 757-200. The distance is 1882 miles with a flight time of 4 hours 15 mins (approx). These aircraft have 233 leather faced seats configured 3-3 with 28" seat pitch and ceiling mounted IFE. They're powered by two Rolls-Royce RB211-535E4 high bypass turbofans each producing 41,500 lb of thrust, proper rocket ships
Have a great time,
Hi Darren, (I think). Do you know what type of aircraft would be used for First Choice Holidays from Cardiff and Exeter airports. I know its Onur Air, are they anything to do with First Choice and what can I expect? Any help or advice would be appreciated as I am a nervous flyer. Many thanks. Sue
I've answered on the 'What Aircraft' thread. All flights to Dalaman on a Monday are operated by Onur Air, flight number OHY440/439. Acording to ACARS, they service the flight with an Airbus A321-200 which are the newer aircraft in OHY's fleet. OHY are nothing to do with FCA, they are a Turkish airline who have been chartered in to cover the flight.

Message to all travelling long haul on First Choice. Someone on another forum has said that the latest inflight films to Cuba are as follows:
Casino Royle, Music & Lyrics, The Queen, Pursuit of Happyness, Because I Said So, Notes on a Scandal, Breaking and Entering, Eragon, Happy Feet, Charlotte's Web.
They only returned on Sunday so I assume there will be no changes for the rest of the summer.

Can anyone help me? We fly out of Bristol on Sat on First Choice to Sanford. We've prebooked seats but they don't give out the seat numbers etc just that we'll be sat together. I've been given a number to call to see if I can get the preallocated as the flight also picks up in Manchester and they can checkin the day before so Im worried all the good seats will be gone.
As I'm going to ring and call them, is there any info on which seats would be best for a nervous flyer? I was going to ask for a window seat near the front of the wing. Any clues as to seat numbers etc?
Thanks
Your flight is operated with a Boeing 767-300ER. There aren't any 'best seats' as its personal preference. If you want to minimise the sensation of flight, then its best to be sat near to the centre of gravity, ie around the wing area. Any row from around 14-25 should do you. The aircraft is configured 2-3-2 (A/B-C/D/E-F/G).
Darren
This is our first long haul with the kids and previous holidays we've been seated across the aisle from each other on a 3 and 3 arrangement.
Also anyone know what the entertainment might be?
Thanks in advance.
You'll be flying on FCA's excellent Boeing 767-300ER's (flight number FCA076/7). These are configured 2-3-2. There's loads of info about them over the last few pages including my flights reviews.
Have a great time,
Darren
Ideal seating for us on that configuration would be for Mr HD and I to sit on a 2 with 2 kids in front and 2 kids across the aisle from us on the 3. Do you think this will be a problem? Will we need to get there early to secure it?
We flew FC Premium to Agadir in April and have already booked for Goa next Easter
Anyone know what films might be showing? The kids keep asking!
I have had a trawl through the previous pages but can't find what I'm looking for Does anyone know which plane will be operating on the FCA054 flight from Gatwick to Holguin on 1st July?
Many thanks

If you get to check-in nice and early, ie 2 hours before your scheduled departure, its worth asking the check-in agent but it can't be guaranteed. As an example, I checked in for a flight with FCA last year and because I was travelling on my own and arrived early (as it turned out, very early!), I had the pick of the aircraft If you don't ask, you don't get!
Safe journey and have a great holiday,
Darren

FCA only use Boeing 767-300ER's on their long haul services. Enjoy Cuba, its a fantastic country.
These are my flight reviews from my second visit to Cuba:
First Choice Airways Flight FCA048; Manchester (MAN/EGCC) - Varadero, Cuba (Juan Gualberto Gomez, VRA/MUVR), 3rd March 2006
First Choice Airways Flight FCA049 from Varadero, Cuba (Juan Gualberto Gomez, VRA/MUVR) - Manchester (MAN/EGCC), 17th March 2006

We went to Cuba last year from Manchester and I was not sure if the plane would be the same from Gatwick. This will be our second longhaul with First Choice (Star Class Premier this time!), and our second time at the same hotel. Hope both live up to our expectations this time.
Enjoyed your pics and reports. Keep up the good work.
Louise
