Hi my wife and 10 year old are going back to sidari for the 4th time in july.
It has got much bigger and livelier and the beach is not as clean as it was. But it is still a great place to go it has something for everyone from famlys to couples. And everyone is very friendly which can help make a holiday.

Hi Adam,

Stayed at Tolis a couple of years back - Angeliki is just at back of Tolis and we shared their pool.

It seemed fine to me - pool was quite quiet but a few too many kids - we prefered to go to the pools near the beach.

As for nightlife - myself and my boyfriend (both 22) loved it - it's great fun - loads of bars in the center and a couple of night clubs. Sidari is mainly couples (I think) but there are a few groups who go - they are mainly in the center at night.

I'm sure that you and your friends will have a great time - don't worry you'll love it.

thanks.. so how far is the angeliki from the centre?

Oh no, the last thing we want is to spend 2 weeks with screaming kids around, hoping that is not the case!!

have read most of review in resort reports.

does sidari smell like quite a few of them say?
what is resort like in early september?

thanks

Near the Canal D'Amoir it had something like stagnant water in a drain...

it did smell a little, but only like walking past a dustbin...

after a day you hardly notice it at all....

I can honestly say that the only bit of Sidari that did smell, was the bridge going over the canal at the Canal d'amour end.It wasnt really that bad.

is it a family place or more for singles

we were two families together and had a pretty decent time...

its like anything else, its what you make of it... we had a good time.. it beats being at work... :-)

should also have said, there were lots of loud bars as well so you could do the loud dancing/clubbing type thing but its not like foam parties on the street...

It was mostly families and couples when I was there last year. There wasnt really any large groups of men/woman.

you joking about lots of families?! going on friday with 6 mates and we are a little worried that it will be a little quiet and full of kids etc!!

can anyone reassure me that this isnt the case?!!

hi Adam,we went in May at the start of the season when it wasnt as busy. There are lots of bars to choose from and a couple of night clubs. The clubs dont open till about 12/1 am,I'd imagine this is way past families bed times. Sidari is a fairly small resort and most of the bars are all on one street. It's nothing like Magalluf or Kavos. I went with my boyfriend and we enjoyed it(we aint past it ) im sure you'll enjoy it! :D

cheers for that info, sounds good..

what are the bars like? are there any that are similar to night clubs that are open for the same amount of time etc?
Reply
There are a few bars that play loud dance music to keep you going till the clubs open

Hi there, four of us went last September for 14 days, the weather was fantastic and our apartment at Yiannis village was superb but that was it, the beaches were dirty two of us were ill and had to seek medical attention basically it is just the same as blackpool, in one shop they had a badge for sale with the welsh dragon on it saying a souvenier from corfu..

I dont want to put anyone off I did come back with a good tan but that was it, do go to greek night but dont book through your rep. The best food we had was at the three little pigs well worth a visit.

Sorry Sidari was not for us we are in our 60's and realise youngsters want to enjoy themselve s found the beach not too clean a lack of really good greek restaurants the restaaurants were Greek owned but managed by Londoners, Croations, there was no GReek atmospher but there are still a lot of lovely places to visit in Corfu
