Can fresh semi skimmed milk be bought anywhere, I know we're all inclusive but I like an early morning cuppa in bed.

there is a shop when you come out of the hotel turn right about 500yrds on the left you see a go kart track you can get milk in there but tea and coffee is served until midnight anyway and breakfast starts and 7am. take a mug with you if not you can get one from the shop in main foyer. the only give you small tea cups you prob like me love my morning cuppa. so alli did was get up go to dining room make a cuppa a took it back to my room. there is no kettles in the rooms but i could not tell you if you can hire one

Just thought of another couple of questions - is there a book exchange? just wondered how many to take? Also, how much is a taxi to the hotel's beach? thanks.

The hotel has its own bus what takes you to the beach for free and for books they havr some but would sugest to take your own

Hi,glawsgowkiss, thanks for that.Is room 1032 a ground floor room,if so does it come with your own terrace area,I didnt know if to go with a terrace or balcony!!alot of people are saying there is a smell of sewage that can be smelt,is there any rooms to avoid regarding this!! reading some of the reveiws some people recommend to take your own pint beakers as the drinks come in small cups so went out and bought a couple today, what about wine do they also come in small plastis cups.Whats the private beach like is it sand or shingle? Have you any idea what the weather will be like in feb.
Many thanks,
Lorraine. :tup

room 1032 is a lower ground floor with small terrace onlooking the quite pool so you just email ask for that room or room similar onlooking quite pool lower floor...the beach is shingle s would recomend the flip flops ..as of the weather its like british summertime weather 25 to 30 degrees dont worry about rain lol last year sharm had a total of less then 5 minutes rainfall.

the wine is seved in a glass in the inside bar but the pool bar gives you 200 mmm white platic cups would recomend taking your own plastic beakers they will fill them up....a hint take jif lemon with you rub it on your legs at night the mosi,s stay clear of you

Is there a bar area near the quiet pool, I'm going to request a room in that area and I was thinking it would be nice to be able to have a few drinks on our own terrace/balcony while listening to our own music on the ipod.

yes simmey there is a bar a the quite pool the hotel has 3 bars in total one in the main lobby one pool bar at the quite pool and one at the noisy pool..the pool bars close at 11pm but your all inc stops at 12pm only the main lobby bar does the all inc till midnight .

Hi,glasgow kiss, did you find the sewage smell a problem, not that it bothers me as I read about this before booking my hols, just wanted to know if it was something that happened all the time,or certain times of the day, some people are saying it was worse round the entertaiment area??
Thanks for answering all these questions, much appritiated,
Lorraine. :cheers

Hi deep the sewage works next door to be honest i never even got any smell or anything from it .in at the start you will here a humming noise coming from it but to be honest its not distracting or deafning in anyway the things you read about people saying about it to me where all nitpickers to be honest. The entertainment is ok it is better than some places ive been but people do forget that egypt is a bit behind our country.

entertainment consists of Bingo give that a miss you only win egytian tourist tat.....karaoke...quiz night...mr and mrs (is a laugh me and wife entererd we won a massage and a bottle of wine) and every saturday you get the egyptain entertainment night and couple of other things but the poor animation team start at 8am work until midnight then some of the do trips out to narma night clubs and casino,s after midnight

Or the hotel does an excersion on saturday night out to the desert to a bedwin camp where you have you meal watch a show and have a dance in the desert .

To be honest if you go on holiday and hang about anyhotel all the time it is boring me and wife went on a few excercions

Quad biking in the desert (brillant) did it twice

snorkling in the red sea boat trip to see the coral reefs

sharm trip (see micheal about this)

cairo trip we did it by bus long trip..leave it 1am arraive ciaro museum around 8am then on a boat trip down nile..hard rock cafe for lunch..pyrimids and sphinx..pypyrus museum..got back at 1am us and 2 other couples they kept the restruant open for us and made us steak and chips on our return any other hotel ive been to all inc once you miss dinner youve had it.

Thanks for that,I totally agree with you,it would get really boring if we hanged around any hotel for long periods of time.We would love to do the quad bikes, but how would my little girl get on is she allowed to get on the back of her dads ? would it be safe enough?we will do the bedwin night that sounds brill,it sounds really fun. What sort of prices are you looking at,when you book these trips.
Thanks again,
Lorraine. :)

depends on the age of your small girl but they would give you the what i call 2 seater domb buggy style quads what are perfect i seen dead camels lying rotten in dessert with beer bottles up there butt dont let that put you off its an experince not to be missed.(hint if you do go and meet begging children in desert even in desert safri) iggy them seen the same kids on other nights dressed up in the best of clothes. its all show for the tourist

Thanks Glasgowkiss for recommendation of a room - we got 1035 and it could not have been better and would recommend to anyone wanting one overlooking the quiet pool, very handy for the pool bar and pool. Just got back Friday and want to back :cheers
