A quick update, after about a monh of staying the same weight, just started shifting a bit more have now lost 19lb since Christmas. Another 2lb to go until I reach 9st 7lbs and 3 weeks to my holiday.

Sandyglen- 19lb's since xmas is fantastic! Well done!

Now i have to admit last week was a really bad week for me, i had 2 take aways and wine, cider, cake, chocolate, chips... in one word Horrific! But i have still managed to lose 2lb's this week :cheers Im not quite sure how but i weighed myself 3 times to be sure!! I have really cut back on carbs too, for instance by just cutting out my usual 2 slices of toast for breakfast and then my 2 slices for my sandwhich at lunch im no longer eating 28 slices of bread a week! :really

So im really going to be extra good this week... See you all next wednesday. Keep going and keep motivitaed -something i am remembering this week!

Thanks everyone. Yes, it is nice to see that elusive target coming into view. Had a few shaky moments earlier this year and didnt think I would/could ever get there. Fitting into those size 12 jeans has really given me that extra boost of confidence to keep at it and of course knowing that I have a holiday also helps with the motivation.

Well done Mandi. It just goes to prove how bad bread is. Bread is/was one of my biggest downfalls. I was terrible but now try to limit it to just two slices of a 400g loaf of wholemeal for my breakfast (still need that bread fix) and maybe one or two wholemeal rolls during the week. I think the key is sticking to wholemeal. White is a definate no-no except when I really fancy a treat.

Sandyglen - wow 19lbs is brilliant. Good luck for losing the 2lbs before your holiday. Im sure you will have a fantastic time whether you get them or not with that kind of weight loss for your holiday.

Sounds like everyone has had a loss :clap

After maintaining last week, I only lost half this week but i am fine with that as i really thought i would gain, not because i have been naughty but because i have been on tablets that can make you gain weight. I will stop taking them on sunday so hopefully i will be back to normal in a couple of weeks. I think i will do the fast forward next week just to give me a boost.

I went for a run tonight as i was feeling guilty about my vodkas at the weekend! When i say run, i mean leisurely walk with a feww bursts of running every now and then!!

Weigh in day tomorrow and im sooooo nervous - half a pound till that all important stone mark. Been trying to get this for 3 weeks but feels like an eternity - its getting so difficult now and im only at the 1 stone mark! How the heck will i manage to lose another 3 stone?!!

Great job on all the losses this week girlies - keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow night please! I need it!!

Have not been on site for ages it seems. PC at home is being used by 15 year old son who is revising for GCSE's - poor lad bought himself a laptop and have trouble trying to use AOL wireless :cry
I mainitained again last Tuesday night so in 4 weeks I have only lost half a pound - SWC said maybe I could be near my target but that is 10lbs away - any ideas? I must admit clothes are feeling looser though.
I have been walking a couple of times a week (doing a 15 mile charity coastal walk 3 weeks today).
Won't give up as know SW is for me - and hearing all your sucess stories keeps me motivated.
Must dash - hopefully speak again soon.

Well I've been rubbish, weighed last Wednesday and haven't had 2 minutes since to post! :duh Well I stayed the same last week, I'm not sure how as I was sure I'd gain...now I'm worried it's gonna come back and get me this week! :yikes I can't even say I've been good this week as we had friends over on Saturday and had a curry :whoops
Oh well, well done to everyone who is being good and extra well done to all the losers! :tup

Morning everyone
Went to WI last night and I put on half a pound felt really mad at first as I have been following the plan, everyone was very supportive and after a chat with my consultant at the end of class I felt much more positive - I did ask for the FF unit allowance but she would like me to look at portion sizes of carbs etc one third of your plate being carbs and the other two veges, salad and if I don't have any success with this then I will do FF next week.
Today is day 1 for me and I am hoping to be a great big loser in May.
Keep up the good work everyone and if you are having a bad time we are all here to have a 'sound off'

:really Thank god its not just me who is cheating!! I have had a really bad couple of weeks, maybe reaching my holiday target has gone to my head? Anyway i weighed in this morning just praying to have remained at the same as last week but i have managed to lose 1lb. Thats my smallest amount regarding a loss since i started but a loss is still a loss right? :que

I have just under 3 weeks till we jet off so i am determined to go at it full pelt until i hit the airport ha ha ha. Good luck everyone, lets all really go for it! Till next wednesday.....

Well I'm back and I've stayed the same! Not a loss, but I'm still happy not to have gained. Just need to get kick started with losing again now!! :) Very jealous of all you naughty people who are still managing to lose ;) what's the secret?? :D
Ok, a whole week til I weigh again and I'm determined to lose...we shall see!!

Hello everyone
Well I started WW last night - went to my first meeting (have done it before but not for a few years) planning to lose a stone. Imagine my horror :yikes when I discovered I am 13lbs heavier than I thought!!

So I now have two stone to lose!

Actually if I go by booklets etc I should have about 6 stone, but I weigh very heavy for my size (I wear a size smaller clothes than my friend and she is two stone lighter than me?!!) so am aiming for 2 stone to start with, which I want to lose before my holiday (which is in December).

I would be grateful for any advice (and especially recipes) anyone could give me!!

well I have been quite naughty last week

It was my daughters birthday so we had a chinese take out,also today Mcdonalds for dinner,then I got weighed at the weigh-house and to my dismay I only lost 5ozs :cry
so I have to be really good next week and no more take outs

What a lovely sunny day it is here in Wirral this morning. Summer is on its way. :sun2
What a difference a week makes - weighed in last night and lost 2lb I was so happy as I had put on half a pound last week after weeks of maintaining. Doing quite a bit of walking so this is probably helping.
Seems very quiet on here recently.

Well done Irene. You did really well in persevering with the diet over the weeks of maintaining. Me, I would have crumbled by now. It just goes to prove that if you can stick at it, good things will happen.

Not been weighed yet, thats later. Ive had such a naughty week, Im fully expecting to put on the lb that I have lost in the last few weeks, plus some.

Ill hang my head in shame later :( and report back.
