Lovely to hear from you - I put on half a pound last night at WI not too down as I had a 2lb loss last week (after a bug) and didn't have a proper appetite until Friday so can put your meatabolic system out.
It is so annoying when you try hard and maintain - fingers crossed for a loss this week when do you have WI let me know.
Starting at Curves gym tomorrow - 1 free months trial 30 mins x 3 days a week have heard good reports about toning.
Am setting target on 30th June would love to be 9 and half stone but still have 4.5 lbs to go.
Are you close to target?

Joined slimmers world and have lost nearly half a stone in two weeks.!!!!! I'll let you know exact amount after my weigh in. Getting married next year so need to stay trim.
Well done CazzMicknTom thats really good going - its helpful to get big weight losses in first few weeks as it gives you the motivation to keep going.
I have WI tonight so am all in a panic about it already. I have been really good this week, but I was really good last week and stayed the same so I really really hope I have lost this week!
A wet and miserable day here in Wirral this morning - Have got a JP with chilli beans for lunch no salads for me today.

kelloggs diet I am 7 and half stone but want a nice flat tummy work out every night for 25 mins on my latural thigh trainer and nice and toned for my hols, cant wait to get my designer bikini on nikki beach here I come..
Have been doing terrible - got 8wks to lose 2stone, not a chance!!!! Had traded my bikinis for tankinis!!
My target of 2 stone before my holiday at the end of the year is looking promising as have lost 17lb overall now in a month and a half.

I joined Curves gym last night - 30 min workout 3 times a week is what they recommend. I was told my weight could stay the same but it shows in inch loss - we will see. I have a complimentary free month and depending on results I will then decide if it is for me. Keep up the good work everyone.

I have been thinking of joining Curves - there is one in the town next to where I live. I am a member of a regular gym which I go to on average 3 times a week, but I get so bored just slogging away on the treadmill and cross trainer. Curves is a bit like a circuit training course isn't it?
You use about 8 - 10 different machines and in between you jog for 20 seconds or so, you do the circuit 3 times.
Check out your local Curves and I am sure they are all taking part in the 'Splenda' promotion.
I am going tomorrow night and Saturday morning - here's hoping to inch loss.

Let us know how you get on Irene - and also how much it costs without the promotion!! I need to work out whether I will save money if I change from my current gym membership with the extra travel costs!!

I am new to the slimming thread, but having just returned and looked at my pics, I want to lose a couple of stone before I go away again on October 3rd.
I am not joining a club, but have looked out my old slimming world book and I am going to start that tomorrow.

Havent been on here in a while. I started Scottish Slimmers in February (Valentines Day!) and ive lost 20lbs exactly. Im hoping to get that 1lb so its 1 and a half stone ASAP. At the moment though i am kinda going through a phase of 1 step forward, 2 steps back - one week i lose loads, the next i put on etc. Getting annoying and hard to stick to - my motivation has gone!!!
Go to Florida in September - my aim is to get the 2 stone mark by then - it should be reachable - dont want to set my aims to high - obviously anything over 2 stone will be a bonus

Full of motivation this morning, started my diet and just having a quick break now from the housework. At least all the holiday ironing has been done, so that kept me on my feet for over 3 hours

A 0.5lb loss last night.
Setting my target in the next 2 weeks or so - was hoping to get to 9stone 7lb but 4lb away so will probably be above that as I have never had 2 good weight losses which I would need for a long time.
Just hope by joining the gym that I will 'tone up' those flabby bits.

Well didn't lose anything this week so my total stands at 6lb in three weeks. Target for next week is 2lb, I really want my half stone sticker.

I was going to go back to SW tonight, have put on 1lb (I reckon ) since reaching target, but I can feel my resolve slipping so I need to go back and get some motivation. Plus I miss the friends I made there. Anyway it started pouring down, so didn't bother.. Promised myself I will go next week....
Very quiet on here at the moment - guess a lot are away on hols, though I think Kerrie should be back by now!
