I have around 7 lbs which I yo yo on and off. As soon as I get wind of a holiday and I go away often it is out with the soup pot and I make endless pots of it and just watch the weight fall off.
Only vegetable with chicken stock cubes. I blitz some of the veg in the processor which thickens it and the rest all sorts of veg as many as possible. ONLY problem it makes you windy! It is OK for me as I live alone but not sure how acceptable to others this problem would be. Started last Monday so in 10 days I have lost 4 lbs!! I am only a size 8-10 so 4 lbs is really good. By the end of next week I will be all set for fitting into those evening dresses for the next cruise!

:wave: Good afternoon everyone, i havent been posting much on this thread apart from my Wednesday weigh in results as i have no computer at home due to a nasty infection in it so im currently in a internet cafe! Moving on.... The weather has been great and its giving me some practice in wearing summer clothes and getting my white bits out for my holiday in 11 days time!!

I weighed in this week and have lost 1 1/2 pounds... I was expecting more as i have been really good and worked out 5 times last week but i suppose thats just the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.... Mmmmmmmmmmm Cookies..... :duh Anyways well done to all you keeping at it, i doubt i will lose much more befor i leave but i have passed what i set as my holiday goal anyway so all is not lost. I have 10 more lb's to go in total though for where i would like to be at.

Well I had my first weigh in at WW last night and lost 4lbs. :)

So thats 4 down, 17 to go!!!

It is very quiet on her at the moment. I panicked when I couldn't see this thread but then realised it had just slipped down the page. Anyway, I can understand why it's been quiet, sunny weather, busy lives etc I know I haven't had a minute since Wednesday to post! Good news for me though, as after a few weeks of maintaining I lost 1.5lbs this week. Not amazing but going in the right direction :tup
So good luck to everyone who's still persevering, I know the sunny weather's inspired me :cheers

Well I've given up. :duh Went out last week and bought a whole load of new clothes in size 14 otherwise I'd have muffin tops hanging over skirts as well as trousers. Not a pretty sight. :que They fit really comfortably and will accomodate if I put a few pounds on too. :D

Been trying to cut down for quite some time now, including doing a "little" exercise but I can't see any results yet. I've decided to follow a plan from today. Had a slimfast for breakfast this morning and was planning on another for lunch with a decent meal this evening. However, didn't fancy the shake for lunch so had a snack instead which turned out to have less calories than the 215 contained in the glass of slim fast. Might just stick to the one a day with a healthy snack for lunch. I'm also going to try and increase my exercising. Here goes!! It starts for me today. My incentive is my holiday to Crete in 12 weeks, my goal is to lose about 8 pounds. Doesn't sound too bad but I always take ages to lose the weight. Fingers crossed this time.

:D Morning all! Its such lovely weather! I weighed in early this week as im off to butlins with my daughter tommorow for a few days and then on sunday i jet off on holiday! I must say that having this little 'group' has helped to keep me motivated each week when i know i have to post how well or not so well i have done. I think now though as my holiday is only 5 days away this will be my last weigh in record here. I have lost 2lb's this week taking my total loss to 33lb's since January 2nd 08 and since my baby was born in July 07 in total it comes 66lb's.... Im very chuffed! :D This morning i finally broke through another stone mark so its nice to see new numbers on the scales! Im the smallest i have been in years and my husband said the other day 'its like having a new wife' That made me feel very good about what i have achieved.

So good luck everyone, Rememeber to keep going even in the slow weeks and stay positive and motivated!

Hope you have a lovely holiday and show off that "new" figure of yours with pride. You deserve every minute of it.

Im not getting weighed until next week so im trying to be good. I do find it easier to diet in summer. Salad always tastes so much nicer in the sun and the beauty of SW is that you can go to a bbq and eat all the meat (except of course if your a veggie) without syning.

Not getting on here as much as I would like. Changed internet provider from AOL to BT internet as my son could not access his laptop by wireless - thought it was AOL and guess what having the same problems with BT - although it has worked with BT at another location as soon as he is able to sort it out I will be able to have PC more. :offtop
Well done everyone on the losses. I managed to lose another 1lb this week, think all the walking I am doing is really helping.
Had another BBQ last night ate loads of quorn and salad - all free.
Keep up the good work everyone and hopefully speak soon.

havent been on for a while as i miscarried 3 weekends ago! :cry i am trying so hard to be healthy but have lost the plot a bit. i go on holiday on the 31st may so i have got to get cracking!!

Lindsay - So sorry hear to hear about your miscarriage. I can't say I know how you are feeling because I don't.
Maybe just go with what you want and how you are feeling each day.

thank you. it has been a tough few weeks and i havent really had time to dwell on it what with me starting my new job. they stressed for us not to take time off during our training time so i havent really had time to myself and when i finish work on a night i have Caleb to keep me occupied!!
I am looking forward to my holiday just so i get a break.

Lyndsay, so sorry to hear your sad news..... must be very tough for you at the moment with the new job and all.! Take care and look after yourself.

Just back of my hols and pleased to say i've only put on 5lbs - very pleased with that. My ankles are still a bit swollen after the flight so I hope some of that is water retention. Back to SW on Tuesday and hopefully back at target soon after!!!
Well done to you all that have lost weight - especially Irene, I know you have struggled with maintaining for a good few weeks, but at last it seems to be coming off?

Just seen your post Lindsay, I am so sorry to hear your sad news. You are in my thoughts.

Well I lost 0.5lbs this week, not so good but I guess it's still a loss! Trying hard this week, got to as I have Wednesday and Thursday to make up for as we went out for a meal both nights :whoops

Well done to everyone who has lost. Mandy you are an inspiration, your weight loss is amazing! :cheers

I am really sorry to hear your news Lindsay and hope you are bearing up ok.

I lost another 4lb at weigh in on Weds, so that is 8lb in two weeks. Not expecting much this Weds though, haven't been bad with food, but drank lots of vodka on Saturday! I did point all of it though.

Would be happy with a pound, but we will see!

Girlingreen - You are doing so well, which plan are you following?
I followed the plan last week did a 15 mile charity walk on Sunday and at WI last night put on half a pound. :duh Went home last night had a mini 'pig oou' and back on track this morning and hoping for a good weight loss next week :) - I must admit I did feel quite disappointed at the gain - know it is only half a pound but a gain all the same.
It is half term next week so while I am off :D I can eat different things and plan ahead again.
