My mum is a retired SW consultant and she said as long as you follow the food optimising plan you will not gain. What I keep reminding myself is that you are using smiliar calories to digest the food than you're inputting into your body with the type of food on SW.

my diet started Monday and I'm doing quite well at the moment did give in to a kitkat and 2 choccie biccies but have bought a wii fit today and its fab gonna go on at least 3 times a week

This weekend is not a good one - hubbys birthday yesterday and we were supposed to go out for a meal but both of us have rotten colds - not had one this bad for a long time.
We decided on a full blown indian takeaway which I must say I enjoyed.
Today I am doing a Mothers Day buffet and as I am still full of cold I want comfort food not SW food.
Back on track tomorrrow.

another one and a half off agin tonight, that leaves 9 lb to come off in 6 weeks for my target. Going in for the burn now, especially as weather is improving, the dogs not gonna know whats hit her, walk, walk, walk!
Just eaten wedges, vegeburger on a bun and now want something sweet!!!!!!!!!
Hope I feel better tomorrow - the amount of cough mixture, lozenfers and cold capsules I have taken has cost me a fortune. Have got a SW lentil chilli in the slow cooker - enough to feed the 5,000!!!!!!!

Well here i am back with my head hung well and truly in shame. Nothing went to plan with the mothers day thing. My Mothers day started on Saturday and didnt finish until yesterday. I braved the scales and OMG i gained 5lb 4 days of being naughty and a 5lb gain i cant believe it All i can do now is behave myself and get it back off again. I finished the tablets yesterday too so hopefully there is nothing in my way,heres hoping for a big loss next week. Well done everyone else for not up like i have. Cazz welldone your now way ahead of me lol.
I may plateau over the next few weeks as I have a wedding and a 30th birthday to attend!!!! keep at it alsbaby xx Cazzz.
Well after recent over indulgences I am pleased to report I stayed the same at weigh in,but have a couple of celebratary meals this week so hopefully will be able to resist all the temptations on the menu and go for the healthy option.Fingers crossed.
Feeling better today and plan on SW plan with a vengance.
Cereal for breakfast, cous cous salad for lunch and lentil chilli for EM.
Have synned a glass of wine and the damned cough medicine!!!!!

Alsbaby it's probably a fluid thing mostly. 5lb in a week is an overeat of 17,500 calories above your recommended amount.

Puts it into perspective though doesn't it Alsbaby? Apparently you need to go over your recommended calories of average 2000 per day for a female = 14,000 per week by 3500 to put on a lb in weight. So it should be really hard to gain much more than that in one week. I think when we do overindulge we feel bloated, because we are bloated, and that's going to show on the scales on a temporary basis.
Have got my meals planned out until Friday.

Mari Years ago if i would have had a kitkat and biccies that would have ruined my whole day (sometimes week lol) Thank god i got out of that bad habit. Your doing well let us know how you get on with the wii fit , i would love to have a go ( where do you live lol )

joeseptuk well done you on your 22lb weight loss and also on the exercise front ( i hate it myself lol ) but admire anyone that does it. I also decided to lose weight this time for my health as i couldnt walk up the stairs and breath at the same time. I used to lose weight purely for vanity and yes i did look a mess too so its worked for both this time lol
I have had a couple of days of wanting to be naughty with it being the National and all but i have resisted ( think that massive gain i had last week has kept me on the straight and narrow) Just about lol. I dont know about everyone else but i find it really hard to diet in the summer when the beer gardens open. I prefere my comfort foods and find it easier in the winter. I have been good so far and intend to stick to it and see what the scales have to say on Wednesday.

Hi Als (and everyone!). Not had any white wine for 2 weeks . Got weighed on Friday and I had gained 2 lbs . From tomorrow, I'm cutting down on sugary sweets (I love fizzy things) and am planning to walk for an hour every day. I have the same problem with the sun and the beer garden . Gail xx
