I must get motivated for my next holiday which is in october, I done really well last time , stuck to 1500 cals and walked 5 miles 5 days a week and the weight dropped off but since I returned off my hols last october I have stuffed my face with take outs sweets etc im really ashamed of myself.
My friend has booked for us all to go to Benidorm and must get this extra weight off, so as from tomorrow will be back to walking and calorie counting, hope I can do it
Recipe for SW Lentil Chilli is in my file at home.

Apologies - not been SW focussed since Wednesday - here is the recipe.
Lentil Chilli
1 packet green lentils
2 tins baked beans or chilli beans
2 tins chopped tomatoes
1 tin sliced mushrooms
1 garlic clove
1 chopped onion
1 chicken or vegetable stock cube made up with 1 pint water
3 tablespoons tomato puree
chilli powder to taste
Boil up the lentils with a bit of salt and cook until soft and then drain. Add the remainder of the ingredients and bring to boil Can be left on the hob until it thickens or thicken up in a LARGE slow cooker (Use a very large pan - or halve ingredients - makes about 10 portions).
Can be frozen.
A cheap and filling meal.

One thing that has helped is that my other half is on it too. He was very sceptical about being able to lose weight eating all the things we can eat but having lost about 8lbs so is now very happy.
We find we don't use that many syns each week, which is good as we have an off plan meal on Saturday evenings, although we make sure that we don't go mad. For example, we had a Chinese meal the other day but we didn't have Spring Rolls and I had noodles and himself had ordinary rice.
Ive been following the plan too for 4 weeks now. Im not to going to a class either and although this weekend was a complete disaster (2 birthday parties - 1 adult and 1 child - and a wedding reception. Lots of alcohol and very naughty foods) id lost 6.5lb but put on 2lb over my weekend of syn . Got another 3 weeks to do my stuff now so back into it 100% and hoping that another 6lb loss is forthcoming. Will be more than happy with that if I can do it. My aim was half a stone before my holiday and I almost got there early which would have been brilliant but with 2.5lbs to go again, I know I can do it.
SW extra easy is a breeze to do and ive let my friend borrow one of my old books and she is getting on fabulously too. Was very cynical about it at first but the scales and waist bands say otherwise so she is happy. I love it personally and for me its just eating healthily and not a diet at all.
Does anyone know how many SW syns are in a mini Jarlsberg cheese? I ask as I couldn't find my usual Babybel cheese.

Now I do expect to put on a few pounds over the 2 weeks of my holiday, as the food is so tasty, will probably stuff my face, but when I come back home, its not going to be hard for me to loose what I have put on

I have been on the SW Extra Easy Plan for 5 weeks now and have lost 11 lbs. At times the progress seems very slow, but I guess 1-2 lbs weight loss each week is better than a gain.
I will do it within the next three weeks though.....want to be a life member!
pargaluvva - Not quite sure how she's done that! She's on SW Extra easy plan (and she uses all her 15 syns per day) and on the wii fit she does 2 sets of hula hoop, 10 minute jog and kick boxing, 3 - 4 times a week. We are both dying to get in a bikini for hols!
Since I started my diet beginning of April I have now hit my target of losing a stone and am now 8'4. This is down to a lot of wii fit and giving up a lot of foods i used to eat and choosing the more healthy options.
I haven't been able to exercise for a week as have been ill. I go on holiday on Thursday so hopefully be better then.
I bought Zumba for wii but not tried it yet will be starting up the diet again when back.
I don't want to put too much weight on holiday but I know its inevitable.
