:wave: I am following SW from home,have lost 3st 4lbs so far and have about another 4 st to loss,would like to loose 1 st before I go on my holidays Sept 26th which is do able.

I am taking the scenic route,its taken me 18 months to loss my weight so far,but will get there in the end. :hyper

Looks like ther are a few happy people on here - well done...............
I am a little 'fed up' with myself at the mo.
Back from SW class and maintained again.............this has been going on for about 6 weeks now. I need to move on.
A big birthday at the end of July and a holiday the first week in August.
What can I do?
I am thinking of trying EE plan but as a vegetarian not much of a change. Any ideas please????

Do you think a change of plan would help - say Rosemary Conley Calorie Counting.
I visit MiniMins.com slimming site which covers every way of slimming I think any of us could name. A few of the girls on there are changing over to different plans to kick start their losses - you could read what they are saying.
Beware if you do not have much spare time it is a very large forum with SW being the biggest community :D

I am a member of Minimins. Not sure RC would suit me, have got the initial 2 week plan off someone at work - although I did RC a long time ago (was not a vegetarian).
Going to do a food diary this week and have a good chat with my SW consultant if no change at WI next Tuesday. May give fast forward a go if I don't lose anything next week.

:( Not a happy bunny only lost 1/4lb after a good week.Saying that my feet and ankles have been swollen for about 4 weeks now so must be retaining fluid.

Well, I've stuck at the same so asked to do the Fast Forward, only been on it a day and it's not good. I'm starving but have no units left so will just have to keep drinking water to make me feel full for a while...roll on bed time :(

I did FF last year..........lasted 2 days and had to stop as I had a constant headache.
Good luck with it - just a few days can help?

What is the SW Fast Forward Plan? In spite of losing 15lbs in 7 weeks, I have suddenly put on a 1lb, but I don't think I have done anything differently. It may be fluid retention, but I am having to watch everything I eat just in case any more weight goes on.

Its the bare minimum Sydney. I am allowed 18 units a day. There are 68 choices to have, two meals at 5 and 8 units and the rest are for extras.eg, yesterday I had 2 weetabix with 150ml skimmed milk, two slices of wholemeal bread ( small size) with cucumber, lettuce and tomatoe, and apple and banana then for tea I had a ready meal ( no more than 350cals) a low fat yogurt (no more than 100 cals) and an apple. Also had 175mls of skimmed milk in numerous cups of coffee. I was really hungry by 7am :(
Its not going any better today but I do need to get back on track. No headaches yet.

It is very strict and only normally recommended by a consultant when you have been doing SW for quite a while and you plateau?
Sydney you have done very well - too early to be thinking about FF.

Well thats me nearly ready for my holiday, getting everything packed, so come Sat Im away for 2 weeks to Italy

Last few weeks, havent been at the gym, or doing any exercise, due to work; overtime

Got the scales out today, to check my weight, previously was 86 kg, and now 88 kg, put on a bit of weight

I know what you mean Irene.

I think the problem with me is that I can lose the first 14lbs fairly quickly and easily, but it is every pound after that, that is the problem. I am the sort of person who in the past that if I didn't lose weight for two/three weeks, would become frustrated and think about coming off the plan. I am hoping that my slight gain this week is due to hormones, so I won't panic until the end of next week.

Also, the ladies I work with are not on the plan and eat huge sandwiches or baguettes at lunchtime or on Friday's will buy big portions of chips. I know it isn't their problem I am on a healthy eating plan, but sometimes my resolve is tested to the limit. They are very nice, but they are feeders (that isn't meant to sound unkind, but as mothers they are always making sure that everyone who calls into the office is fed and watered); they are always coming in with biscuits or home made cakes.

I like this discussion forum as everyone is supportive.

Been a bit off track recently, 20th June was my youngest daughters birthday so we had chocolate cake and a few messy's. 30th June was my dads 70th birthday and yesterday he had a BBQ with chocolate cake too & a few ciders. Tuesday is my eldest daughters birthday with MORE cake! but after Tuesday I'm back strict and going to ace these 2 weeks before we go away :sun2

:( Another disappointing week only lost 3/4lb doing red and green on SW.Have 12 weeks until my holiday and would like to loss 11lbs before then.Think I might just get weighed once a month not sure.
