Hi
scubadiver99

Quite a few people now book their seats when the book their holiday's as TC are pushing the fact they can get an extra £6 by doing this so some people are not waiting until they receive tickets.

yes but the return flight is showing up as having no seats avaliable, surley if ive got 2 tickets for that flight there should be 2 seats avaliable??? ive tried booking seats on the outbound flight but the payment keeps failing before it gets to the card details page, tried to call TC but ended up on hold for 30 mins!!!! any body have an alternative number?

Hi
I might be wrong but I don't think you can book premium seat numbers online. I think you have to do it over the phone. Try 0161 498 4400 lines are open from Mon-Fri 9.00am until 6.00pm.

Hi,
Was wondering if anyone can help me please:

My flight is TCX65K/L flying to/from Dom Rep 20 June / 4th Jul

I'm aware of the changes to the planes, while the 33" seat A330 planes are being refurbed for the summer. Does anyone know how long they will be out of action for? I thought this was getting done in May (following the postponement due to Ash in April). It's just on the seat booking area online, it is still showing as having 324 seats, but in the ticket book it says 354 seats.

Do they only send out the letter informing people that they'll be on 29" seats to the people that have already received their ticket book before the change happened? Or are they just playing it safe, and telling everyone in the new ticket books it'll be the plane with more seats, irrespective?

The thing is we specifically booked Thomas Cook for the 33" seats as my partner is 6'4" and obv would be very uncomfortable with little leg room on such a long flight, so mentally we are now having to prepare ourselves for two hellish journeys, not good when this is meant to be our dream holiday!

Also we had booked 2 seats on row 39 by the window/aisle, (in the bit that is 2.3.2.), will these also only have 29"?

Sorry for the long post, but getting stressed on my partners behalf. Thanks for any info.

The seat plans in the ticket booklet do seem to have the incorrect seat plan in, so ignore it!!

This has been flagged up but has not been corrected yet

New to the forum but here goes....

I was a regular flyer with MYT but (for no particular reason) have never flown TCX, my last few flights being with TOM, MON and LS. As such a triple-fold question if you would........(not asking much I know!)

Just booked flights from MAN-LPA on 14/6/10 retuning on 28/6/10. Flights numbered TCX433K/433L. Family have used TCX on similar flights and have been on a 757/A32series aircraft. I`ve received a (pleasantly surprising) invoice that suggests the aircraft will be a 767-300ER. Is this correct?
If so, any idea of which plane?

Finally, in light of recent posts, will we be privelaged to recieve IFE being on a wide-bodied aircraft? A small photocopied notice with my invoice explained that IFE was being restricted on short/mid haul flights but it would appear this won`t apply to wide bodied aircraft?

Its very ambiguous to me at the moment and any feedback would be much appreciated

Yes thats right its operated by a B767-300 but which one of three wont be known until the day really, it will have IFE and details of that can be found in the online magazine which can be found in the What Aircraft guide in this forum.

Hello,

due to fly monday flight TCX718K / L :cheers

it's saying on web site that i can check in on line !! silly question .... what about our luggage and it's weight ?
never checked in on line before :rofl
cheers

Gregg,

You can check yourself in online. However luggage still needs to be checked-in at the airport. Depending on how busy the luggage queue is, it may not be much of time saver. Online check-in is most beneficial to those only travelling with hand luggage as they can just go straight through to the departure lounge when they arrive at the airport.

Thomas cook operate 3x Boeing 767-31K/ER's; G-TCCA/B and G-DAJC. All now have blended winglets. You'll find lots of aircraft information on our What Aircraft Guide? (link below) as BEfreeTODAY mentions including seating plans and photos. We should be able to let you know the specific aircraft operating your flight the day before. However it makes little difference as they're all the same inside.

Borogirl,

One of the above! Both flights are due it at roughly the same time and both depart again at the same time; to TFS/DLM at 1445. They sometimes switch so it's not easy to work out. All are ontime at the moment from what I can see, with the inbound Corfu flight expected 15 minutes early. Have a great holiday :cheers :sun2

Hi Darren, flying Manchester/Izmir on TCX898K on 26/6/10. Invoice showed plane was an A321 but just gone on website now to look at picking seats and plan shows its a wide body. Can you advise what type it is. Thanks

Cobax,

MAN-ADB-MAN (TCX898K/L) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

Many thanks Darren - You've just made my day.

Wasn't really looking forward to the flight on an A321 with 28" seat pitch as hubby quite tall and no IFE but now cant wait

I don't think the Friday TCX985K/L flights commence until 28th May. Flights prior to that are a different flight number. They're operated by a Boeing 757-200. Times will be confirmed on your tickets when you get them and you can't go off flight history to check for delays etc as anything can happen on the day. We'll be able to indicate the specific aircraft registration the day before. They're all the same inside so it makes little difference.

Darren

Hi again Darren

Sorry to be a pest, but still can't see TCX985K/L on arrivals or departures at Glasgow Airport - getting a bit worried now, we are due to leave 7 weeks today! Could you let me know if the starting date for commencing this flight has changed again please?

thanks
