Anyone know about the luggage pooling I posted about above?
This is the info I found on - Flythomascook FAQs and Help pages.
"Passengers can combine their checked in baggage allowance as long as individual items of baggage do not exceed 30kgs for lifting purposes"
Thanks caz, I did try looking about the TC site but couldn't see anywhere to view the q+ a!
booked with TC and given 20Kg of luggage .... does this include hand luggage or is it just hold luggage ?

Thanks mikebravo,
i used ti fly on the 10.40am flight but found this earlier one, cannot find it in the listings on the gatwick summer flight section !!
is this a new flight that still has to be added ?
just hope they dont merge this with the 10.40 one !! as i have paid extra for this time slot and the exit seats - like my leg room
718k always used to be a LGW-BJV (Bodrum) flight no. until this Summer
Due to fly Manchester to Tenerife South on the 26th March with Thomas Cook, flight TCX811K/L. According to the tickets, outbound flight will be operated by a Boeing 767-300 and inbound flight will be a 757-200. However, when I have logged on to the Thomas Cook Airlines website to book flight seats, the inbound flight shows an Airbus A330-200.
Checked Aena (the Spanish Airport website) today and TCX811K/L was operated by a 757-200 both outbound and inbound.
Could anyone please confirm what aircraft we will be flying on.
Many thanks,
Suddy
As it's over Easter a/c with more seats have been put on this route.
Thanks MikeBravo, i assumed this was the case.
I have managed to work out that Thomas Cook Package holidays generally give 15kg of luggage allowance, whereas flight only gives 20kg??
I booked through thomascook.com but did not book a package holiday, I used the 'flight+hotel' option - and it happened to come out with thomas cook as the cheapest flight so we chose them.
Now I have received an e-voucher ticket type thing, which says 'Luggage 20kg' and I am totally confused as to whether we have got 20kg for hold luggage plus 5kg for hand luggage, or if it is 20kg all together?
Just wondered if anyone else had experience this and could let me in on the answers??
Thanks in advance for nay help!
Moved and merged to Thomas Cook airline topic.

thank you gower for the prompt reply, much appreciated.
We're flying to Montego Bay from Gatwick with Thomas Cook 28th June flight number: TCX 77K , returning on TCX 77L.
I've never flown with them before but they offered very competitive prices so my group opted to book with them. Unfortunately I've read some really negative reviews on Thomas Cook since our booking was completed which has really concerned me. Most reviews comment on the poor level of comfort, poor service, lack of leg room etc.
Is anyone able to confirm which plane will be used for this flight please ? In addition I'd appreciate any info on seat pitch and seat width. I understand that if we book an exit aisle seat that our armrests will be fixed and this reduces the seat width even further. Is this correct ?
Thanks in advance.
long haul seat pitch NORMALLY 33 inch in economy and 35 inch in premium economy, EXCEPT, cruse charters which can be 30 inch and relief aircraft [if needed due to technical reasons ] also 30 inch, arm rest should be in the down position when the seat is occupied so whether fixed or not doesn't make that much difference
Thanks for your help Wizard. Do you happen to know what the seat width is like ?
