Sorry Darren. You must excuse me but when you say "pulled" do you mean that they may not be doing those flights anymore?

Pulled as in removed from the schedule. It's strange that it's only showing departures up to 3rd November on the booking system when the schedule suggests they should be running up to 24th November.

I called TC this morning and the sales assistant said that the flight is no longer operating after 27th October. Great. 
Dazbo - yes it's the Var/Hol flight that we are all on and I've been able to book mine both ways but I suppose they'll just have to wait n see now. Thanks

I'm thinking of holidaying in Cancun and flying out (LGW-CUN) on 12 Oct 2010. I understand that the flight number is TCX 41K. We are considering premium seats (there only 6 seats available) and wondered when the calendar opens for 'my seat my choice' reservations? We don't want to leave it too late and end up sitting apart.

Thanks for the speedy reply. I've now booked my Cancun trip, safe in the knowledge that we stand a good chance of getting the seats we want, if we logon when the calender opens at 98 days before departure.
The funny thing is though, all the premier cabin's seats are blue (unavailable) as are a few economy seats but the majority of economy seats are white (available) and can be 'picked up' even though the flight's not until October!

johnrosati-you cant book premium online, we had to ring them 
So, you pay a premium for a premium seat then pay a premium rate to listen to TC Customer Services deal with their queue so slooowly then, pay £6 per direction. Oh well!

You can book your seat your choice as soon as you have the booking reference. Costs £6 per person each way. I booked ours last week for 3rd September, and there were only 3 sets of the 'two' seats left in premium, so I wouldn't wait until 98 days before!!! You can't book them online until 98days before but you can ring them and do it over the phone. If you ring as near to 9am you can get more or less straight through.

No, not even in flight safe mode. The reason being, cabin crew don't know whether it is in flight safe mode or not.

Fair enough! I'll take my iPod instead then. I recall flying recently and being told you could use flight mode, maybe it was Turkish or Easyjet. Thanks Darren.
Johnrosati - Great stuff!!! You would think though that TC would let you know that you can do this, wouldn't you? Can't be very nice flying for 10+hours separated for your loved ones?
