Welcome onboard :tup
MAN-SFB-MAN (TOM118/9) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER. We won't know until November which configuration is being used for your flight, most likely a 283 seat aircraft. You'll find further further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Seating is personal preference.

Hi Darren Thank you for the reply. I will ask the question in november closer to the time and see if you have heard anything. One more thing, 2 of my party are disabled they are being taken on in wheelchairs but are able to walk a little so do they have allocated seats for disabled or are they still ok to choose there seat like the rest of us? What ever seats we reserve will we get the same ones on our return home?
Many Thanks Donna

taboogirl1,

They may be eligable for medical seating, but this needs to be prebooked with the airline beforehand. They can of course choose seats like any other passenger if they wish. When you reserve seating, you'll also have the option to reserve the same, or different seats on the return flight.

Thanks Darren.

We're actually looking at next summer, and assumed that they'd use the same type of plane as this year. Having just returned from SSH on a 767, I was hoping the LGW-ADB route might be on one of those. Sadly, it would appear not!

Harry Boat,

We'll be able to confirm it for you early next year as the S11 aircraft schedule hasn't been released yet. It's normally a 75W however.

We are flying LGW to CUN TOM 092 4th November on 767/300. We have booked seats 34 F & G: 35 F & G
are these seats with windows...do like to see where I'm going!!!
Thanks

Sorry Darren didn't make myself clear.. :whoops I meant to ask are the window seats G, clear or obstructed window views/ Also out of interest where does the plane come from before we leave LGW>
Thankyou for your help. :)

chapmanSJ,

Row 34 have views out of the window, ie it's to the rear of the wing. I can't be specific if it's a full window or two halves, I've not sat in every seat (yet!). I've not got the W10 aircraft schedule yet so can't check. I should get it sometime next month.

Hi Darren
We are flying to Punta Cana 29th September Tom 070. Can you tell me if the plane is a ex first choice. If it is, am I correct that there are 40 rows of seats. Thank you
Reply
Lipgloss Lady,

TOM070/1 are indeed a former First Choice aircraft (76W). You'll find seating plans linked from our What Aircraft? guide (link below).

hello all, i am seriously looking forward to our trip now,
it's 2 weeks on saturday and has come around so quickly since we booked,
i would like to ask dazbo, if you are able to tell me from where our plane will arrive prior to picking us up at manchester??? we are taking the TOM108 from manchester to holguin, cuba on saturday 11th september 2010, also, is it still running as a former first choice airways flight? i really hope so as i've been really looking forward to finally sampling the premium cabin after all of the super dooper reviews, it really does look very nice, and perfect to help 10 hours pass a little more comfortably,
thanks in advance!!! :tup

Hi Darren,

It would be much appreciated if you could tell me what aircraft is operating the TOM 382 to Taba on 07th September from BHX.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Darren,

A friend of mine called into a Thomas Cook shop today and questioned the scrapping of their Premium Service, and was told that it was down to the Government and due to the tax they are omposing on the airlines. She was also told that other airlines will be doing the same.

Are you aware of any plans for Thomson/First Choice to follow suit?

Also notice in the Virgin brouchure that there doesn't seem to be a Premium equivilant either!

Thanks,
Pat

pat,

My understanding is that premium will not be removed from the current 767's (partially due to lightweight floors in some aircraft that can't take a full economy layout and partially due to cost) but when the 787's arrive they won't be fitted with a premium cabin.

I was under the impression that unless the APD that is due to rise in November is changed, Thomson will not be having a premium cabin in the Dreamliner.
