Papa,
I can't say I've ever experienced any IFE problems with the seat back system so I would say yes, it's stable and has been for a while. Of course glitches do happen from time to time that require a reboot of the system, but I think you've just been unlucky.
Darren
However the system was rebooted several times and as I said the crew member insisted it was not an isolated incident.
Having looked at the films for my flight though I think I will settle for a good book.
Papa
could you please tell me which aircraft(s) will be operating BRS-LPA-BRS on 18/10/10 and returning 25/10/10, flight numbers TOM6120 and TOM6121
Cheers guys
Jess
You have two sets of flights close together dont you? BRS-LPA-BRS (TOM6120/1) are scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 757-200.
Darren
Unfortunately not, I'm going to Tunisia but my parents are off to Gran Canaria a couple of weeks before and they wanted to know the aircraft config so they could decide whether to pre-book seats or not
Thanks for the swift reply again
Jess
Flying 28th December - BHX-ALC-BHX (TOM7214/7605) will this be a 757 ie three seats either side, and is it a one or two pin socket for headphones please.....Many Thanks... Caz
i think you will find that unless your on a wide body jet then there will not be any IFE [its been withdrawn on short haul flights]
I knew Thomas Cook had but not heard that about Thomson?
cazB,
Thanks very much Darren ....Caz
Got 2 small children so want to know config and also if IFE so we can be prepeared with DVD if not! I know some of Thomsons planes dont have IFE. Is Fuerteventura classes as short haul?
Hope you can help
Jan
MAN-FUE-MAN (TOM2662/3) are operated by a Boeing 737-300. Fuerteventura is a short (mid) haul flight. Further aircraft information including seat maps, cabin photos and IFE are on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). Please note the Boeing 737-300 isn't equped with IFE. The aircraft operated MAN-Pisa-MAN (TOM2600/1) before your flight.

My partner and I are traveling from Gatwick to Holguin, Cuba on the 29th November 2010 with Thomson. Do you know what plane this will be?
We are considering upgrading to premium so we can pre-book seats and have extra leg room etc. I would like to have a little look at the aircraft set up to see whether it'll be worth it.
Thanks

Welcome onboard
LGW-HOG-LGW (TOM094/5) are operated by a Boeing 767-300/ER (winglets), probably from the former First Choice fleet (we can confirm in November). You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide (link below). You can select your seat in any part of the aircraft. There aren't really any extra legroom seats in premium, they all offer greater seat pitch over the economy cabin (that's what you are paying for). The front row behind the bulkhead have a little more room over the standard seats. Seating is personal preference.
Darren
I'm thinking the upgrade to premium might be worth it for the free drinks, food, extra films and slightly larger tv. The longest flight i have ever been on was about 3 hours so i think a 10 hour flight might be a little challanging. I need to make sure i have plenty to keep me entertained
11 weeks and 6 days until we go! (not that I am counting )
Thanks again,
Tammy
Although the premium cabin and service is excellent, personally, I don't think it's worth the extra. Ask yourself how many drinks you'll have (bear in mind they aren't free, you're paying £200+!), you can upgrade the IFE in economy to the premium films for £5 per flight, it's only 3kg more luggage allowance (that I have anyway on my flights on sunday), etc. If you just want the extra room, extra legroom seats give you more for less (subject to availability). It's ultimately personal preference and the premium cabin is nice, but personally, I would rather put the money towards a better hotel or activities in resort and get the benefit of it for 2 weeks rather than just the duration of the flight(s). The economy cabin is pretty good as it is, and exceeds many major schedule carriers. I've done 14 hour flights in the FCA economy cabin, with 11 hours on sunday!

Hi will be flying on 23rd September returning 7th oct Egypt do you know what plane we will be flying in thanks
Please supply all your flight details when requesting aircraft information as there are many flights daily from several airports to 4 airports in Egypt. Where are you flying from? Where in Egypt are you flying to? What are your flight numbers?
Darren
HI, Flying from Gatwick on 21/9 on flight TOM 536. I believe this is a 757-200 (3-3) aircraft does anyone know if this is correct. Travelling with 2 and half year old twins and am dreading the flight but I'm sure it will be worth it.
