ADDC,

If You Have Requested Special Needs Seating, Then Thomsons Will Sort That Out For You.

Do You Have Your Flight Numbers So I Can Check What Type Of Aircraft You Are On?

Gower

that is really kind of you, our flight is out of glasgow on the 9th of July and back on the 30th. I said to the guy on the other site and he said he was allowed and he has written confirmation . we have told them everything, even tried to pay for more baggage allowance as we are going to find it hard with all the medical stuff and they said it was ok but still unsure. TA said to take our doctors letter which I will but still a tad worried

ADDC,
Dont panic I have flown with Thomson and they made sure I had a special needs or medical seat as they call them.I can't see how that guy was allowed to book the medical seats as I tried to book a medical seat and was told those seats cannot be booked.I am flying with them again in October and again tried to book a seat but again was refused.I hope this puts your mind at rest.

thanks

we have only flown TC and the were like that didnt allow you to book rows 1 or 2 and each time they were brilliant, never having flown Thomson was worried purely because ds is paralised and there is no way we could lift him into a row that wasnt a bulkhead seat (non emergency one)

glad you had a good experience, TA just phoned as I am typing here and they have told her you now can book row 1 :que

ADDC,

I'm sure Gower won't mind me answering your question as he's worked hard enough answering questions. Your flights (GLA-SFB-GLA, TOM796/7) are scheduled to be operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. Medical seats are row 1 premium.

jackmax,

NCL-CUN is approx. 4856 miles. You'll depart NCL, head across Ireland and cross the Atlantic over towards Newfoundland. You'll then follow the Canadian coastline and the eastern seaboard of America down to Florida. From Florida, you'll cross the Gulf of Mexico in to Cancun. The following map is an approximate flight plan, although you'll tend to be closer to the coast than this and sometimes slightly inland. Exact routing will be given on the day as it depends on air traffic and jetstream position.

There's a dedicated check-in desk for premium customers.

David A350,

This is the Thomson Airways thread rather than Thomas Cook. Flight routing will be as my post to jamie09, but you'll obviously be departing from GLA and only going as far as Florida.

lisaste5,

Welcome onboard :tup
You might not be aware that First Choice and Thomson merged last year, and so did their respective airlines. Regardless of whether you booked with First Choice or Thomson, all flights are now operated by Thomson Airways. This airline is made up of the former First Choice and Thomsonfly aircraft. Your particular flights are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide where you'll also find links to aircraft photo's and my trip reports for an insite in to what to expect on your flights.

Morning all,

I was wondering whether someone could help - I'm heading to the Dominican Republic (Samana) on 19th July and coming back 2 weeks later - 2nd August - from Gatwick, going chicken class (normal economy!) and I was wondering what aircraft type we're on and also is there a copy of the seating plan available so we can discuss picking our seats??

Many thanks
Derek

dk1000,

Your Flights (TOM060/1?) Are Operated By A Boeing 767-304/ER From The Former Thomsonfly Fleet.

These Are Configured 2-4-2 In Economy With A 33" Seat Pitch. Thomson Airways Do Not Publish A Seating Plan For This Aircraft Type
All Seats Are However Similar And Can Be Pre Booked 4 Weeks In Advance Of Traveling
