Can anyone tell me if flight TOM 576/ 577 to Sharm will be on Thomson or FCA aircraft ? Also want to book seats, can you recommend any ? We want to be near but not too close to the toilet for our daughter with a decent view from the window, thanks in advance

pearman,

Flights TOM 576/7 Are Scheduled To Be Operated By An ex FCA Aircraft.
Seating Is Very Much Personal Preference, There Is A Seating Plan Here (It Is For Thomsonfly Buy FCA Are The Same)

I am flying from Manchester to Puerta Plata on 16th June with Thomson. Thanks to Darren, I have now been in touch with Thomson and selected seats. We are in the Premium cabin and have chosen 2A and 2B. My main concern was that I would be sitting next to my companion and not separated by the aisle or one in front of the other. It only cost an extra £20 so I think in the grand scheme of things, it was money well spent.

I know we are supposed to be at the airport 3 hours beforehand, but I shall not be so stressed knowing that our seats are already allocated.

Thanks again, Darren, for your assistance.

We are going to the Grand Oasis Marien. This will be our 2nd trip to this hotel but when we went before it belonged to the Hilton group.

I am very boring and always go to the Dominican Republic for my main break. I have been to all parts of the island over the past 12 years and I have worked out that this will be my 15th trip there. Yes, really!!!!

I will report back on whether or not I enjoyed the flight. Normally I think of it as something to be endured but as we are having a treat and going premium this time, I am hoping for great things.

You'll be on a Thomson Airways 767-300 from what was the First Choice fleet

louise.trought,

Your flights are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find more aircraft details on our What Aircraft? thread.

EDIT: BY-TOM-AMM-FCA just beat me to it!

Could you please help me. We have booked a Thomson flight No 078 from Gatwick to Cancun on the 30th June, but have just heard on another forum that Thomson have cancelled all there Tuesday flights to Cancun from Gatwick. Is this true? If they are flying is it a First choice plane or Thomson. Thanks a lot.

Lipgloss Lady,

Welcome onboard :tup
TOM078/9 are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. I've no logs of the flights at present, but flights to CUN only commenced on 24th May after the swine flu cancellations. I'm sure you'd have heard from Thomson by now if your flights had been cancelled. If in doubt, give them a call. You should receive your tickets about 2 weeks before you travel.

Gee am I glad I booked premium! My son and I are wide - bodied. I was told that our aircraft from Manchester to Sanford would be an ex First Choice 767, (seat configuration 2-3-2 in economy.) It turned out to be ex Thomson 767 (2-4-2 in economy.) Looked very uncomfortable. Had a great flight in premium. Plenty of room, good service, comfortable, excellent food outbound, (awful coming home.) Would definitely book premium next time. I think it was worth every penny and better value than Virgin premium economy.

read over on another board that they let someone book row 1. our son has special needs and we were told we can't pre-book, told that they note the special needs request and block of rows 1 and 2 for special needs. quite worried now because thomas cook and the old MYTalways allocated us rows 1 as they are the non emergency bulk-head seats and as out son is paralised we need those . having never flown thomson or fc so bit paniced when I read this guy had pre-booked row 1

we have booked the Premium cabin

anyone help.

ADDC,

If You Have Requested Special Needs Seating, Then Thomsons Will Sort That Out For You.

Do You Have Your Flight Numbers So I Can Check What Type Of Aircraft You Are On?
