SUE136,
Currently Thomson use a 737-800 on Cardiff - Arrecife for the summer season.
This winter will only see 1 based aircraft at Cardiff, it has not yet been confirmed if it will be a 757 pr 737-800.

More than likely, yes. The first X number of rows are normally allocated to those with meals in order to keep everyone together and make the logistics of serving easier.

Im another newbie here. My family and I are flying LGW - LPA - LGW on 24th August with Thomson airways at 16.55. What type of aircraft will it be do we know ? Flight number is TOM4342.
My two kids are autistic so it helps if I can show them the lay out of the plane etc.
thanks in advance

Welcome onboard
LGW-LPA-LGW (TOM4342 - please check, they're actually TOM4142/3) are scheduled to be operated by an Airbus A320-200. You'll find further aircraft information on our What Aircraft? guide. Thomson don't publish a seating plan for this type, but the one for Thomas Cook is the same.
Darren
What you have said sounds right, regards the flight number. My tickets havent arrived yet so I was being lazy and going with the memory
THankyou for your help.

From What I Can See, It Looks Like G-OBYF Will Be Operating Your Flight Tomorrow, Which Unfortunatly Does Not Have Seat Back IFE

Also what is the real time to get checked in and through security at this terminal - is 3 hours really necessary?
Thanks
Simon
Your Flight Will Depart From Birminghams Terminal 1. At The Moment Is Looks As Though It Will Be Operated By Boeing 767-300 G-OOAN
A Picture Of The Inside Of The Cabin Can Be Seen Here
It Is Best To Check In Between 2 and 3 Hours Before The Flight For Longhaul Flights

PS. I Will Be In BHX On Thursday Morning Too!!
Enjoy Your Holiday
Good info - thanks
ferrytrip1 wrote:this Thursday to Cancun? I see this is a 767 from the other info, which I assume is why the trip is so long.
Thanks
Simon
The flight is not long because it is a 767, but rather Mexico is a long way from the UK. (sorry couldn't resist)
The IFE is panasonic.
By my reckoning, it should be G-OBYI (former long haul, seat back IFE) operating your flight as that's operating Dalaman at the moment and should be on your rotation. Have a great holiday
Darren
Many thanks for your help in the past ... much appreciated.
Another question for you.
Outward: Flight No: TOM810 14 Aug Return: 29 Aug TOM811 Gatwick-Hurghada (757 I believe)
Seat No's booked: 32D, E and F (Exit seats)
Can you tell me what the visibility of the TV screen is like in these seats?
Thanks once again.
Pat
There's a screen just above row 32 in the rear cabin so you'll be able to see one, but it's not the best view. Depending on the specific aircraft assigned (757-200) some have an LCD panel on the toilet wall infront.
Darren
Many thanks for your reply.
If I were to contact you nearer the time, would you be able to tell me if it would be a 757-200 series that we will be flying on?
Thanks again,
Pat
Hi Darren a big thank you for all your help. leaving for airport in two hours. thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us.
No need to wait until closer to the time, your flight is scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 757-200.
Darren
