Left Samana, Dominican Republic on Sunday evening TOM061 - was supposed to be a 33inch seat, ended up with 29inches so we were all crammed in - we were told on Friday morning that there was a problem - rep on site couldn't care less....... :-(

I am travelling on flight TOM126 from Manchester to Punta Cana on Wednesday 2nd September, I have booked seats 7A & 7B and I was wondering if there is a row of seats directly in front where you can stretch your legs underneath. I believe it is a Thomson plane with the 2-4-2 configuration.

The aircraft originally designated to operate your flight was grounded for essential maintenance (repair)and had to be substituted for one of the short haul aircraft. This was unavoidable. Those effected on outbound flights were informed beforehand by letter / phone. While I can understand your frustration, it was either that or you'd have suffered a very lengthy delay.

Row 7 is the second row behind the premium section located in the forward cabin. Row 7 are standard seats so you'll be able to strech your legs under the seat infront. The recommended check-in time is 2 hours before your scheduled departure time. There's no point checking-in earlier than this as seating is pre-assgned the day before. If you still want to check-in earlier, desk will be available up to 4 hours before your flight departs normally. You need to check-in at desks 40-53 in Terminal 2.

Is there anyway anyone has the list of programmes on the TV channels. We have a little boy and are trying to find out what programmes he will watch or if we need to bring a portable DVD player.

That's the only listing I have I'm afraid. I don't have the kids Tv section. The other channels are the usual BBC repeats, eg Only Fools and Horses, Top Gear, Dragons Den etc.

The flight before yours should be BRS-Faro (Portugal) - BRS (TOM6412/3), arriving back in BRS at 1205 so there's 1 hour 10 mins between flights. It's too early to know the registration. Does it really matter that much? Other than the seat design and colour scheme, they are the same.
