D3ANO,
Please refer to your previous posts, there's been no change. As aircraft are rotated regularly, we can't say for sure what specific aircraft (registration) it might be until the day before. BRS-HER is 1771 miles with a scheduled flight time of 3 hours 55 minutes.
Darren
Flight Time Is Approx 3 hrs 55 mins, (Plus The 2 Hours Added On For Local Time Difference), As Your Flight Leaves At 07:25 And Arrives 13:20.
G-OOBD And G-BYAI, Are Down In Bristol At The Moment, I Would Expect Your Flight To Be Operated By The ex Thomsonfly Aircraft, Which Ever One That Is On The Day. It Is Too Early To Tell As They Get Changed Quite Often. It Makes No Difference As All The 757's In The Thomson Fleet Are The Same
Gower
If i ask what the reg is wed hopefully you can tell me then.
Thank You so much. You both have been so helpful.
D3ANO,
Thank You. Also if its g-byai - thats quite an old aircraft, if thomson replace these in a few years. what would replace them.
G-BYAI is one of the older 752's in the ex-TOM fleet, but they range from 1991 until 1999 builds. There isn't a direct replacement for the 757-200. The only direct replacement for a 757-200 is a 757-200, but they're out of production now. The A321-200 could fulfill some of it's roles, but they don't have the same range / payload / versitility as the 752 and it's not common within the Tui framework to replace with them. The ex-FCA birds are a couple of years younger generally so there's a good few years left in the 757's yet and I'm sure Tui are working on replacements for the medium term. It depends what Boeing come up with.

Thanks Darren your a star!!
Can anyone please confirm aircraft allocation for TOM094 3 August 2009 LGW-HOG and TOM095 17 August 2009 HOG-LGW.
Welcome onboard
LGW-HOG-LGW (TOM094/5) are operated by a former First Choice Boeing 767-300/ER. You'll find further aircraft inormation on our What Aircraft? guide. Headphones are small in your ear type ones and work fine. I personally don't like them as they get uncomfortable after a while and prefer to take my own full size noise cancelling ones.

we are flying bristol to cancun on 3rd August and thought that this was via Manchester but have read no more about it, does the flight still stop for refuelling, what actually happens during refuelling (do we stay on plane?) and how long does it take before we are on our way again?
Your flight operates as follows:
Dep BRS Mon 08:50, Arr MAN 09:45, Boeing 767-300/ER, Flight No: TOM374
Dep MAN Mon 10:45, Arr CUN 15:15, Boeing 767-300/ER, Flight No: TOM374
Once in MAN, the aircraft will be refulled and turned around and you'll be on your way. You'll be on the grund for about an hour. You'll stay onboard the aircraft as it's just a fuel stop. During refuelling, you must stay in your seats with seat belts unfastened. Your return flight is non-stop;
Dep CUN Mon 17:05, Arr BRS Tue 08:50, Boeing 767-300/ER, Flight No: TOM375

Hi Darren/Gower you asked me to ask a few days before departure as to if our flight has seat back ife etc as 4 planes do ans 2 dont TOM442 tuesday thank again for all your help
It's still too early, we can only predict things accurately the evening before. The aircraft operating your flight should be operating TOM2240/1 (Palma) beforehand and TOM272/3 (Dalaman) the previous evening so we'll know what it is when it's sqwarking on the DLM flight. The aircraft should be operating TOM546/7 (SSH) today and I would expect G-OBYG to be operating it so unless there's a change, that should be on your rotation for tuesday. Yankee-Golf is one of the former long haul aircraft with leather seats and seat back IFE. Please bear in mind things could change before tuesday. G-OBYF and G-OBYI are operating out at MAN as well at the moment. All but G-OBYF are former long haul.
Darren
.Thanks again
We are flying LGW to Taba on Tuesday 4th August - TOM726. Does anyone know where the flight comes in from so that I can track it? Just starting to get a bit obsessive about whether we will take off on time!!
Many thanks
Nicola
Your flight should be coming in from Pula (PUY), Croatia (TOM472/3) landing back in LGW at 1200.
Darren
Many thanks for your help -
Does anyone have an idea of the prices on board Thomsonfly flights (Long haul) for bottles of spirits and perfumes etc. The Thomson on board shop web link has been down for some time.
I hate buying in the airport only to find items much cheaper on board the plane.
thanks
Because im having a meal on my flight. Does that mean i will be sat nearer the front of the aircraft.
