ButterflyFish10,
Welcome
Your Flights (TOM116/7) will be operated by a Boeing 767-300 and this should be an ex First Choice (So should be version 2, only one of the ex First Choice is version 1)
Information on the aircraft can be found on our what aircraft? thread (linked in my signature)

We are on TOM 374 tomorrow morning (BHX-MAN-CUN). I'm aware the route is operated by a former Thomsonfly 767-300 but was wondering if you knew the registration of the aircraft yet. Personally, I'm hoping for one that has had the new winglets installed (G-OBYD/F/H if I remember correctly?) As long as we get there I guess it doesn't matter, but it would be quite nice to look out onto!
Furthermore, I've read on airliners.net and sky news that Manchester Airport was closed this morning because of the snow. Worst case scenario tomorrow and the same occurs again, have you any idea what would happen with our flight - would we refuel at an alternative location en-route or would we remain grounded at Birmingham until Manchester reopened?
Happy Christmas to you everyone on holiday truths!
Regards,
2morrows Pilot 2day
There are a few delays at Manchester Airport at the moment because of the snow. The runway (single ops) was closed a couple of times to clear it. The actual airport wasn't closed as was reported in the media, just the runway. You'll need to check-in at the usual time tomorrow, but be prepared for a few delays. This is no fault of the airline, it's just the weather conditions at the moment. There's up to 90 minute delays at the moment while the runways and taxiways are kept clear and aircraft de-iced. If the inbound aircraft doesn't have the fuel to hold, it'll divert, probably to Birmingham then position up when it can. You'll just have to see how things are in the morming. With any luck, we'll not get much more snow (4" where I am) and all will be fine.
G-OBYF/H are no longer in the UK fleet, they joined Tuifly Nordic at the end of the summer season. G-OBYD and G-OOBL are the 763's with winglets at the moment. Bear wth me, I'll check on the aircraft (ex-TOM) when I can.

Thanks Darren, much appreciated!
2morrows pilot 2day,

just booked Mexico Thomson Tom114 flight anyone know what seating arrangements are on the flight travel 10th Jan return 25th Jan

Considering Thomson flight to Cuba ex Manchester TOM172 & TOM 173 next October, how long is the flight and what is the seat configuration please. Would like to get a 'two seats' if it's 2-3-2 and may even opt for premium economy, can I book a 'two seat'?
It's too early to know the aircraft assigned for summer 2010. We'll not know until May. The flight time is approximately 10 hours.

Hello Everyone, would anyone be able to tell me what time TOM041 from Mombasa to LGW will be due today, or indeed what time TOM040 departed LGW to Mombasa??
The aircraft (G-OOAN) is showing as departing at 0243 this morning. The ETA will depend on the weather situation today, but I would expect it sometime around midnight. Keep an eye out on Gatwicks website for latest flight information.

hi, TOM328, gatwick to sharm el sheikh 4th july 2010, any ideas what aircraft and wether ex-thomson or first choice ?
It's too early to know the specific aircraft for summer 2010 as we only have the aircraft schedule up to the end of the winter season at the moment. However, assuming the same as this summer, it'll be a Boeing 757-200 (winglets). It makes little difference whether it's a former FCA or TOM aircraft as they are the same apart from the seat design. More details on our What Aircraft? topic (link below).

i was hoping for a 767 but the 757 will do, do you know the difference in leg room between the 767 and the 757? any other info would be much appreciated.
thanks
As I mentioned, all the aircraft information is on our What Aircraft? guide (link on my signature). The short haul 767's are 30" seat pitch, the 757's 28". the former Thomsonfly aircraft have slimline Recaro seats fitted (blue leather) that give you more like 29" seat pitch and the cabins have the Boeing enhanced interior package fitted, not that you'd notice! The former First Choice aircraft have the regular cabin / seats (green leather).
Darren
Sorry so slow in replying i have checked the link for Book Your seat number, and it shows the seats pre allocated as we have booked Extra legroom seats, taken along time but it looks good.
I recently came across the Daily Telegraph campaign regarding APD and signed it - hope it helps you out too in an indirect way.
Thanks
Gower, thanks very much for your answer. I'll probably ask you to check the actual aircraft that will be used nearer the time so that I can make sure the seat layout stays the same.
Can someone please tell me seat pitch on Tom144 flight Man-Mexico 10th January. Get different answeres . Should be 33" read somewhere only 30" hope not
