Thanks very much. We booked with First Choice so that might mean we can't pre-book seating.
Cheers

This should be available for flights from 1st May, but you'll have to wait until May to phone.
Darren
We're flying on the 11th May, so I'll try calling after the 1st. I'm a very nervous flyer and the thought of not being seated next to my husband on the flight terrifies me!
Most passengers get pre-allocated 24 hours before the flight departs so you shouldn't have a problem.
Darren
give them a try today. We're travelling on 11th May and I was able to book the seats today.
Good luck.

As a Thomson customer, you are able to do it. The internal systems with First Choice aren't integrated in to Thomsonfly's as yet; the reason for the problems since they started the merger process. It's worth a try but you'll probably get told to try after 1st May.
Darren
Can I ask if Thomson Airways told you if your seats would now be reserved for both your outbound and return journey?
I always find it a real nightmare on the return leg as the overseas check-in agents can be even more awkward than the UK ones!
Thanks!
Hi im flying to punta cana from manchester on the 10th may on flight TOM136. Will be on an ex-thomsonfly plane??
MAN-PUJ-MAN (TOM136/7) will indeed be operated by an ex-Thomsonfly Boeing 767-304/ER. Refer to our dedicated What Aicraft? thread for more details.

I'm flying Birmingham to Montego Bay on 12th May, can you tell me what aircraft will be operating?
Many thanks.
I am flying to Santorini on 16th June on flight number TOM2254, can you tell me what type of plane it will be and also the seat configuration thank you. doz
BHX-MBJ-BHX (TOM284/5) are operated by an ex-FCA Boeing 767-300/ER. Refer to our What Aircraft? thread for more details. When you 'select your seat' you can choose them for your outbound and inbound flights.
Darren
MAN-JTR-MAN (TOM2254/5) are operated by a Boeing 757-200. Refer to our What Aircraft? thread for more details. They are configured 3-3 with 28" seat pitch.
Darren
When booking the holiday, I put the name of the one of the passengers down as Gwen xxxxxx, but her name on the passport is Gwendoline xxxxxxx.
Will this cause me any problems?
Mark
heres the rub. cloggy.. when you book you must use full names as they appear on the passport, however when your tickets arrive they usualy only have the initial and surname.. if your off to spain/america or anywhere withprior passenger advice you may be safer to change the ticket, but in practice you may expect to get away with it
I flew with them last year but can't remember whether the names on the tickets were the full names or initials
Mark
we used them 4 times last year and every time the tickes came through mr B wizard and mrs j wizard
Think Darren answered your question, but to confirm, the £10pp we paid is for the outward and return flights. The same seat
numbers both journeys.
Jason
