O dear Phil and it's sunny here today for a change
Just been checking the BBC weather site and it says its still heavy rain every day in Goa. How long does this usually continue? Don't travel until December but just interested.
last year i went out mid oct and the rain had stopped, looking at the long range forcast it seems like it will continue for another week,
Well at this rate lin your suntan won't be any better than mine when i arrive.
Think you might be right Sleeps, forcast for next 10 days is scattered storms, is there anyone out there in Goa who can look out their window and give us an update, right off for a spray tan,
It rained quite a lot over the weekend. Evening showers which are typical for this time of the year, but also morning rain which is not. It is sunny again today though (Monday).
Whoops. It is now raining again (3pm, thunderstorm). I will now give up trying to predict when this monsoon might end. Good job there's lots of umbrellas on the beach!
Poor Fiona I hope shes got her umbrella with her!
Thanks Phil, keep the reports coming,
Oh no! I hope the rain has mostly moved on by the 3rd.
we used the sunbrollies at the beach to keep dry a couple of times. I'm still a dark brown colour though- and no- its not rust
Fab Fiona. I think the weather is really clearing up now tho. I usually check on the BBC weather page each day and its changing from constant heavy showers to the occassional shower and lots of days
we had rain the morning we arrived and monsoon type rain about 2.30pm on Monday after clear blue skies half an hour before that. However, we were on our way to Mango house by then so it didn't really bother us. We had a few showers during some days but they were the type where you don't move from your sunbed. Most of the rain was in the evening. It was similar to what we expect in Koh Samui in the summer so it didn't bother us.
The weather reports are quite varied. Anyone know how much it is still raining?
The skies are not as clear as they usually are at this time of year. The sun is struggling to break through the cloud today. It hasn't rained as such for a few days now, though it has looked a bit threatening in the late afternoon and early evening.
Help im due to fly to Goa on Sunday.. to get a tan! and the forcast says its raining... can anyone whos there tel me if this rain is bad or not?? Or if its just a shower a day or just nights...??Im only going for 1 week so its important it doesnt rain!!!!!
Today its sunny, yesterday was cloudy with some showers. Its very humid and more showers are expected. Be careful in the sea, the current is still very strong.
I agree...the sea is still a force to be reckoned with. Don't venture in too far.
We are going tomorrow. I don't mind it not being direct sun all the time, as I am very fair and never opposed to a bit of cloud cover.
