I know what you mean icbrum they think we have it easy but the major decisions we have to make can be daunting, what if the beer is not cold enough

:) I have very little tan - went partying=stayed in bed or the bar most of the day = means I'm going back in 2 weeks time - this time to relax and read my books on the beach! It was cloudy but you still get a tan.

may be a silly question but can you still get a sun tan with all the cloudy weather passing over goa at the moment,i hope so.

even though it may not be really sunny, you need to be really careful that you don't burn.

In this type of weather, I still put my normal strength of suntan lotion on as it is easy to get burnt and of course you will still get a suntan.

hi everton4ever just arrived back on the 30th from calangute and every day the sun shone it was boiling cloud would last about 5 mins you.ll have a great time

Arrived back on the 6th and the weather was very hot and sticky for the previous 2 weeks. Had a few spots of rain on our last night which a good down pour would have been most welcome and may have changed the air slightly - but much much hotter and more humid than previous years. I would advise anyone to take out a small battery fan if you want to keep cool on a night - could not find these anywhere in the shops but eventually got one in Panjim Market (last one in Goa they said !!!)

8) It has been extreamly hot and sticky the last 2 weeks; we arrived home late last night, the people who we'd stayed with (Goans, Francis and Valentine) said that it is unusally hot and they supplied us with a pedistal fan to complement the over head fan which were both going constantly :sun, but we have to admit that we much prefered this time of year and we will be going again, much quieter and the beach and shack are not so busy.

Hi Gemma, great to meet you the other week. :glynis When do you get back? We got home last night. We found the weather was getting too hot for us, we're real wimps. We met a couple on our plane coming home who were going to stay for a month but decided to come home after two weeks because of the heat.

Can't wait for Christmas now.
