Hi Jaime
Did your friend keep a copy of her booking form??
Im with First Choice and they sent out a booking form to ask what dates/ times type of ceremony we wanted etc if your friend has this then she should go straight to libra with it, if not then she should just go straight to Libra anyway.
Im sure they will be much more helpful than the Travel Agent.
Hope this helps, fingers crossed

I'm really excited now we just can't wait. We're staying at the avanti village apartments & yes we're staying for 2 weeks. I hope you find out the date.
Let me know how you get on.

Will be sure to let you know how i get on.
We stayed at the Avanti Hotel the last time and it was fab, so i can only think that the apartments will be just as good.
I think im going to roast in my dress as its quite big, but well it wil be worth it.
Are you all organised?? Are you having a party when you come back?
Hope to hear all about it

Thanks Mandy for the reply. I will ask her later about the booking form. I know it was originally booked over the phone and she got a letter from Libra. then the confusion started.
Yes we're fairly organised we've just got the things to arrange with the wedding co ordinator when we get there, My dress is quite a big dress to so i'm going to be roasting aswell especially at 1pm. We're having a party when we get back for all our friends & family so at least we've got that to look forward to when we come home. Are you organised? What date do you go?

i too have booked with jenny at aphrodite for capo bay next july. i have provisionally booked a few things flowers, horse and carriage dj and cypriot dancers but i dont know my numbers yet for any final decisions.
i just wonder if you get a choice of cake(fillings, flavour etc)like at home or do you just take what your given.i also wonder is there a choice of dj and music or does jenny just use one.silly details i know and we're not really supposed to focus on little things like that if you go away.
are you staying on at capo bay or going anywhere else on honeymoon?
We are "getting there" with our arrangements there always seem to be something to do and its trying to fit in dress fittings, hair trials and getting round all the suppliers to pay them that i seem to find most difficult fitting it all in around a 60 hour working week.
We out on the 20/09 and get married either the 27/28th, then we have a reception on the 7th October so i am looking forward to wearing my dress second time round (lets just hope I dont eat and drink too much) and can still fit into the dress.
When do you ??
We are in the Athena Beach, apparently we will be upgraded to a suite (Pending availability) but i dont know if i should maybe email the hotel & find out if they have one free for us or not, i dont want to be stepping on the wedding co-ordinators toes but it would be nice to know.
Also if anyone has any advice or tips on anything at all then please feel free, im desperate for a soft top/open top wedding car to transport us on the day but i dont even know if they have such a thing in Cyprus?

Im flying out to Paphos in 5 weeks to get married
Im desperate for a Soft Top / Open Top Wedding car to transport us on the day, i dont even know if they have such a thing in paphos....Anybody any ideas????
Also does anyone know how much the fun bus would cost (roughly) for about 8-10 people.
Many Thanks

I have had many recommendations to join the paphos post and get info from here. I have tried to join and been denied, anyone know why??? I'm quite upset my access has been denied as everyone has said this site is ful of info.
I'm desperate for info for reception veunes, dress pressers, hair and beauty etc.., and i heard you could also see pictures of venues.
we fly out on the 30th aug. I would email the hotel a few weeks before you fly i did with our apartments because in the brochure it said we could get room upgrade depending on availability. i emailed them last week just to ask if they new whether we could be upgraded & they emailed me back asking me for the name we were booked under & the tour operator, i told them & they got back to me saying we were upgraded to one of the nice big rooms with a double bed (there usually twin beds ) & a nice pool view. So i would definatly email them you've nothing to lose.
good luck
i'll be able to let you know how i get on when i get back because i'm back on the 13th september.

first of all cangratulations on your wedding! I got married in Paphos last Sept and used Michele (the wedding co-ordinator) at http://www.freetimetours.com to arrange the transport for us, we were going to have the fun bus but in the end opted for a minibus and 2 limos. I can't remember how much the funbus was going to cost but I'm sure if you contact Michele she'll be more than happy to help. She may even know of an open top car for you. Her rates are very reasonable and nothing is too much trouble for her. She's a lovely person, we're still in touch now and are actually going out to see her when we go back for our 1st anniversary.
Hope she can help you, say hi from Paula if you contact her will you?
All the best, Paula.x
By the way, what date do you get married?
Forgot to mention, we're actually on the website! we're on the reception venue pics for the Atlantida restaurant. You may get fame as well as a good deal!
My friend got married in Paphos a couple of years ago and she had a beautiful open white horse drawn carriage decorated with flowers.
I stayed at the Cypria Bay for my honeymoon in July it was lovely, really nice hotel.
We didnt get married there we got married at Peyia it was fab.
We had our reception at a place called Zucchini, it was the most amazing day of my life!!! Their website is http://www.zucchiniweddings.com take a look i promise you wont be disappointed!!!.
I havent heard of people being refused, pm Cath from here as she is an adminstrator for the paphos post aswell.
pm me if you need anymore information

We saw one in Protarus, white, can't remember now if it was horse drawn though now
We also saw one in Protaras Glynis, in fact it was parked outside our hotel on the day we were leaving! Beautiful horse-drawn white carriage with the people dressed up that were 'driving' it

Hi Stacey
FC have emailed me to say that we will be getting married on the 27th Sept @ 1pm. Im highly delighted as we will be getting married at Yeroskipou Town Hall (although originally we requested Paphos Town Hall) but i like this venue much better.
Just about to email the piper and confirm the date.......after i have done a little dance around the bedroom that is.
I look forward to hearing all about your special day.
