We thought the same when we were there last year , so much so that we opted for probably Nissi beach instead , although we have reservations about that also with the path in front of the wedding bit .

Is a shame with the Capo Bay because the location is fantastic , Fig Tree bay is a cracker . We happened to catch a wedding there whilst we were there , and its not just the sunbeds that are the problem , but everybody gets off them to watch you as does everyone from the cafes next door . Have to say though the wedding looked great though and i doubt whether either of them noticed anything but themselves .

Having been round most of the wedding venue in Ayia Napa , Protoras etc i think putting up with sunbeds and people gawping is just part of the way it is . Still preferable to back home .

As a matter of interest what put you off the Nissi Beach ?

Only the fact that there wasn't many other hotels close by and we have alot of guests coming. And also the financial aspect. Where as you dont have to pay a useage fee for the Capo.

I'm a little concerned about it all now.......

Please don't panic you will get me started and you know mine is much closer than your's....

I have photos from a couple of people that married at the Capo Bay last year and though you can see some sunbeds when you are standing in the wedding venue the guests that are sat down can't. and the bride said she didn't notice it at all.

All the people that have mailed me have said the location is fantastic and all their guests said it was a fairy tale wedding.

If it helps put your mid at rest at all , after visiting all the wedding hotels in Ayia Napa and Protoras we had narrowed it down to either Nissi Beach or Capo Bay , to us they really are the best two options.

The wedding we saw at Capo Bay looked amazing , it was just purely the fact that we might have fewer people onlooking that has nudged us toward the Nissi , although we have yet to consider guests etc .

There are two many good opinions of the Capo Bay on the net for you to get too worried . Im finding , as per our reservation about the path in front of the Nissi Beach wedding bit , it is very easy to become overly picky about everything wedding related .

Think positive , you'll be fine .
