Hi I think the emotions are normal, my friend gets married in 3 weeks and she's like it, I don't get married till May so a while to go for the emotions to kick in but i'm sure they will.
Thanks for the reply, and good luck with everything.

Can i just ask how people are going on with taking their wedding dresses with them when they get married. with all the news recently bout hand luggage.
I believe that they are being checked in furball, and the Tour Ops are marking the cases fragile.

My wedding dress is being checked in as first choice don't allow them as hand luggage but we do get a bit more extra baggage.

thanks
Try not to panic, when do you fly?? and with what airline??
Im taking mine in avery small hard sided suitcase, like you my dress is very expensive and im a bit wary (but after advice from the girls on the website i feel much calmer) but i heard that they put it in with the fragile items, buggies etc and they are the first things to come off the plane.
Doe sanyone know if First Choise actually supply the fragile stickers or do you have to buy them before you go???

Im just wondering if anyone has ever had their hair and or make up done at the hotel, if so how much was it and were you happy with the results. i just want to make sure that i am bugdeting properly.
Any advice / Tips much appreciated
Thanks
i fly out next may, with thomas cook. so a bit to go yet.
im sure it will be fine.
has anyone else going with thomas cook, as i dont know what they allow with baggage wise.
thanks furball
I've booked with Thomas Cook, but its a first choice flight I have been told to contact the airline, but in the Thomas cook wedding brochure it says you get extra baggage free if its a Thomas Cook flight.

I'm going to be married next may also in paphos, and booked through & flying with Olympic, unfortunately we get know extra baggage allowance. And with all the recent events no hand luggage (hoping this may change!) allowed, which is where we were told to put our wedding clothes, unfortunately i think it will have to go in the hold, and we'll hope for the best!!
I got married in Paphos last Sept and flew with Thomas Cook. I rang the airline and was given extra baggage allowance for our wedding clothes (can't remember how much but it was enough). You have to ring them to make sure it goes onto the system at check in. Everything was fine and there were no mis-haps at all.
Good luck everyone and congrats!!!

i'm flying with first choice & i had to ring the airline & they've sent me a letter out which i have to give in at check in which allows us extra baggage for our wedding clothes. so i would give them a ring.
Just read that you are staying at the Athena Beach, Thats where we are staying next May. Are you having your reception at the hotel are in a restaurant?
Can't wiat!! It's sooo exciting I wish it wasn't 9 months away.
Really look forward to hearing how everything went with your wedding.
By the way how did you find out about the piper, that sounds like a really good idea.

We havent decided on a reception yet, i think i will probably just have a small reception at the hotel.
Most of our guests are half board in other hotels so they will probably go get changed, have something to eat and then we will all meet up again later at night.
Im so excited but very nervous at the same time.
I thought a piper would be a nice idea (with me being Scottish and all that) I think i just typed piper in paphos in the search engine and up the cyprus piper popped. He is a really nice guy (as we have exchanged emails a few times booking arrangements etc), im sure that it will be very emotional walking down the aisle to the sound of the pipes.
Have you been to the Athena Beach before?? We havent but thought it looked fab.
Hope all your arrangements are coming along well, dont worry about the wedding being 9 months away, as the girls on here will confirm the time just flies in.
Speak to you soon

I haven't stayed at the Athena before, but we did stay at the Ledra Beach which is next door and we just thought it looked really nice at the time.
We have also booked with first choice. I have read a few reports that say f.c. have either changed their dates or choice of wedding venue. I hope this doesn't happen as really like the look of Yerskipou. Have you had any problems with them?
Can't believe how many people on this forum are getting married the same time as me. We get married on the 29th May 2007.
Speak soon

kind regards
Where are you getting married?
We have decided on yeroskipou, as I like the idea of an outdoor wedding.

cant wait.
I had my reception at the Atlantida and it was absolutely gorgeous! You'll love it! The staff are fantastic and very friendly. You'll have a wonderful time, we did.
All the best, Paula.x
Hi does anybody know whether it'll be easy enough to get a car seat for my little boy for the wedding car, i emailed first choice last night to let them know but i've not had a reply yet, so i'm just wanting to know whether anybody else had to have one.
