I love the tip about putting all you need in a carrier bag on top of your handluggage for when you get on the plane, going to use that idea this year thanks for that

Yeah, I liked that one too! I usually end up putting my purse, lip balm, headphones etc in one of the carrier bags I end up getting when I buy my magazines from WHSmith at the airport and then stuff it under the seat during the flight, and then it gets torn. This year I've got a small lightweight cloth "drawstring" gym bag, it weighs nothing and it's safer (and more stylish) than a carrier bag, it fits into the top of my hand-luggage bag and will roll up under the seat until I need my purse to buy overpriced Pringles, dinky pop cans and duty-frees
I'm also definitely going to set a budget of how much to spend on the plane - we're only on it for 4 hours, how much stuff do you really need to buy in that time...? Obviously drinks are essential, but you can usually buy bigger bottles of water in the airport. Perfumes are much cheaper in resort, and I really don't need any more designer sunglasses/£30 lip glosses or big bags of Daim bars
Keep the tips coming folks
When my boys were little, they looked like twins and when we went on holiday I would dress them alike.Whenever one of them "disappeared" as they invariably did, I would run around ( with the remaining child)asking "has anyone seen a child that looks like this?" Life would have been so much simpler if I had thought to take a photograph!!! You'll be pleased to know that inspite of their incompetant mother, all three kids have survived into their teens!
The pickpocket one is another tip that I'd never have thought of, but will now carry out.
I usually take a sandwich and drink for when I get on the coach at the other end, as we are usually peckish again by then, esp this year as we land at midnight.
first thing I'm gonna do when I get on holiday is throw out the bath plug!!!!
i love the multi plug one to, but is it safe as they don't have earth cables over there!
ps kaylea my little one likes to take a a little walk by herself to

Hi All
Ok heres a tip for the kids,
six beer mats in the pockets of the pool table means you don't have to pay for pool all night! However I don't think you should do that because it is wrong! ok?
