Thanks Sanji,
Mine is identical to the first one, does what its supposed to do!
great link Sanji..........last time I went to Javea I bought my husband a killer whale for the pool...it was murder to blow up so I could do with getting one. are they both small enough to pack without taking too much room up?
Well if you blow them up with helium before you pack them you're luggage will actually be lighter!
I`ve got the first one and whats good about it is.... you use your feet just like putting air in the car tyres, it has several adapters....it weighs nothing.
I would image the 2nd one would be smaller/slimline for the holiday cases, but you have to use your hands like a bicycle pump...personal choice I suppose, I think for the number of times you may use it per year, then I would go for the foot way one....easier for less effort.
At least with Argos you can look and decide between them both before purchasing one and walking out the store.

Off to see if I can get some cheapo lilos from Asda this lunchtime! Then off to Argos to by myself a lightweight foot pump.

great tip......will save on excess baggage
Thanks Sanji, I will go have a look.
I think it would be cheaper to go and buy new. Thats why i'm now in the middle of catching up on the laundry after arriving back yesterday.
Just to let everyone know that Asda to a 3L foot pump (similar to the first Argos link) for £3.56 - cheaper than Argos.
When you are half board in your hotel,Go down to breakfast with cling film in your pockets and grab some bread rolls and meat from the buffet( they always have meat and rolls at breakfast time) now you are full board and have your dinner too

I have been studying all these tips and have taken notes. Regarding the last post, its sounds like a good idea. I may try it when I go away at Easter.
When I went away last year I picked up fruit and saved it for later.

It gets quite heated when someone suggests this
When I went to Tunisia, there was a horse next to the hotel, he was sickning-ly skinny! We asked about him in reception, and they said he'd been dumped there. He was just tied up, and they were trying to get him moved, after a few days, we took him some water, and after that, we smugled some watermelon and fruit from breakfast, the hotel staff didn't mind! Before we left, we spoke to some other guests who carried on the feeding! Some hotels are really nice!
I have stayed in a few hotels where there are signs posted in the breakfast room telling people that the food can only be eaten in the restaurant and cannot be taken out. I was staying in a hotel in Budapest once where the hotel had a staff member on the door telling people to take back food that they were carrying out, they even told someone to return an apple.
where the hotel had a staff member on the door telling people to take back food that they were carrying out, they even told someone to return an apple.
So they should...you haven`t paid for it.
You`ve paid for breakfast to be eaten in the dinning room and that means all the food you can possibly consume within those breakfast hours.
I personally wouldn`t show myself up trying to sneak a rock hard cheese and ham sandwich out that will be only fit for the horse by dinnertime and when you get the bellyache, no doubt you`ll blame the hotel.
If I was that tight, then I wouldn`t go away.
Most hotels that I have stayed in will allow you to take a little food out if they can see you have had no breakfast and you are feeling a bit off the first thing in the morning...they will also let you take a tray up to your room if someone is feeeling ill.
All you have to do is ASK.!
Fruit including apples are a "ton" for a few pence. euros or whatever.
I`ve seen adults staying in swanky 5* hotels on half board doing this...Tin pot millionaires who ain`t got two half pennies to scratch their backsides with...all penny pinching...pathetic

Have not tried it myself(as i said the lollipop man told me) but must admit what is the difference when you could have ate it while sitting at hotel table?
Kerrie
Sounds like people are getting a bit uppity about someone taking things from a hotel restaurant.
Tin Pot millionaires dear me. So you thinking taking a piece of fruit to eat in your room is a sin?
Good grief
Also some people think that people who are not so well off as others should stay at home. That's sad
When you book you know what you are entitled to and you should respect that. If not pay for full board!
I think taking food from the breakfast buffet to eat later is really shameful if not downright disgusting! How appetising is that going to be 4 hours later?
My tip for the day, when going on holiday 'all inclusive' ensure that the band that the hotel applies to your wrist is not too tight. Therefore, when bathing you can take it off so you do not have a white band around your wrist.
also place it back easily when you need to have a drink Mmmm lovely cold beer in the afternoon.
Happy holiday folks
Kazee
