All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

Beautiful clean beach and plenty of restaraunts ,etc. sunny beach is a beautiful place and the people are very friendly.

Too noisy for young families.
The beech was ok but not overly clean & you learnt to live with the continuous harrasment from people selling.

Great place to holiday,the only thing that spoiled it was all the people wandering around with the snakes.

Sunny Beach-wonderful for people who enjoy sunbathing, eating and drinking, but we found not much else to do, especially in the evenings. Gypsy camp is worth a visit - went independently and had excellent evening. The jeep safari was highlight of our holiday - wonderful. Also went on trip to Blue mountains - spectacular when off the coach, but spent 7 out of 11 hours on it. Nessebur is pretty but very commercialised - we caught service bus (good value if you don't mind Bulgarian driving!) Beach very crowded

The resort of Sunny Beach is very clean with lots to do for all.
The restaurants were not great and at all times you get the feeling for all its commercialisim you are in a third world country.
Lots of shops and stall selling fake designer goods, but also lots of pickpockets, lots of conmen and women trying to rip unsuspecting tourists off. Without sounding like an alarmist I didn't feel safe here. This probabley sounds ridiculous, we have friends that go every year and have bought holiday apartments out there, but in the week we were there we saw so many incidents, no police at all even when called.
We would never go back.

Beach clean, but the odd clump of seaweed when rough.
Quiet location, though that may change given the explosive building programme going on.
Nessebur well worth a trip.
Didn't think much of Sunny Beach.
Tried the Jeep safari - don't expect the Vitara seen on the posters, think former Russian Military cast-offs! Also, they obviously don't have the same Health & Safety and Road Traffic laws as we do! But it was a laugh!
All in all we enjoyed ourselves.

The resort was quite clean considering the amount of people there, as for the entertainment all the pubs and restaurants had live music on every night with some having kiddies entrtainment on till half eight.
The beach was lovely I would say the best thing about the place.
If you do go to Sunny Beach you must go on the lazy day cruise it was so relaxing and the crew are so friendly.
ps.I hope you like copy tee shirts.

During our time in Bulgaria we stayed in Sunny Beach. The resort itself was out of this world.
So much to do in the way of bars, restuarants, entertainment, beach, shops, swimming pools and so on.
The beach was fantastic and very well kept and clean. The sand was always fine and great for walking and bathing on.
I would without a doubt visit this resort again and intend to within next year or two.

Sunny Beach is a lovely resort with lovely beaches.
We visited Nessabar on 3 occasions, taking the taxi boat from the jetty and had a relaxing stroll around the great shops and outdoor stalls & enjoyed a lovely meal in a restaurant overlooking the harbour.
Locals here seemed to welcome tourists and were more friendly than Sunny Beach.
The Bulgarians have a lot to learn about hospitality if they want tourism & I'm afraid my experience in my hotel has put me off ever coming back.

Vlas is a most beautiful beachside resort on the Black Sea Riviera. It's tranquil, delightfully laid out and has an amazingly clean beach. The village has some welcoming restaurants, especially The Brazilia, with many bars and some night clubs. The views across the bay at sunset are spectacular. Vlas is the perfect resort for families with it's safe non tidal beach and close proximity to all the amenities of Sunny Beach but without the late night revellers, waking you up in the early hours. The location between mountain and sea is both breathtaking and spectacular. I will definitely be returning to this lovely resort.
