All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

We had a fantastic time, so much we are going back next year . We are both fifty and really enjoyed ourselves.

this was our 4th visit to sunny beach over a 12 year period.the changes in standards, entertainment,amenities etc you could not beleive.truly a holiday resort to suit every taste and the bonus is that it is still very very cheap,i would recommend to go now as in 2007 they go euro and i think,sadly, that the resort will suffer a price hike which may deter people from going.it is such a beautiful place,the beach is golden sand,no pebbles,just sand.you can wade out a fair distance without the water reaching the colder areas.i cannot enthuse enough about the resort.plenty of entertainment for the very young,teenagers,and the rest of us

isolated and nowhere else to eat within walking distance.

sunny beach is a great resort which is getting bigger.The beach is fantastic and you will find plenty to do on it.The entertainment on resort is nothing great although the Khans tent is excellent.The resort is very clean with almost no litter.cant wait until next year as i will be headind to sunny beach again.

The place is cheap and there is quite a bit to do if you have children or like shopping, it rained for three days out of the seven, although i liked the place i could not do more than one week its to much like blackpool without the rock

Sunny Beach is a great resort, catering for all ages and types. My only real complaint would be the sea, too much seaweed and too shallow. But it is very safe for children but not much use for swimmers. There is always plenty going on in the resort and when I was there the weather was terrific after a dodgy start, if the weather had stayed so bad I dont know it I would have enjoyed it so much. Hopefully Sunny Beach will not end up another Benidorm because I feel once the run out of ground to build hotels on the will just go up the way and it will be too busy.

The southern part of Sunny Beach. The streets were clean and there was no litter.
There were plenty of bars and restaurants, all offering "happy hours" and excellent food. You could buy takeaway jacket potatoes, pancakes, pizza all really cheap. The restaurant and bar staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Shops abounded with clothes, shoes, perfumes and souvenirs and you really don't need to take too much luggage with you - buy it there, it's cheaper.
The beach was a short walk from the hotel (buy some cherries on the way down - only 1 lev) and was extremely clean. Beach beds and umbrellas available for hire. The sea was clear (and very cold). There was a half hourly boat from a short pier to the old town of Nessebur - worth a trip.
There were bars on the beach which served ice cold beer and good food at great prices.
A good holiday resort worth going to again.

In sunny beach there are always somebody cleaning up. The beach was cleaned every night by tractor.In the resturants, bars and pubs all along the beach there was always entertainment for all ages there where bulgarian folk dances and any other type you can think of.The resturantes gave a wide choice of food and at a very inexpensive. (you can feed a family of 4 for £20 including drinks.The local beer was between 30p and 35p a pint.we would visit the resort in the next 3 years before the euro comes in. A MUST TO REMEMBER IS DO NOT CHANGE YOUR MONEY ON THE STREETS ONLY IN THE HOTELS AND BANKS!!! Travelers cheques are widely excepted but the also like sterling. the exchange rate when we where there was 2.80 lev to the pound.

there was not much enterainment for our age group 40s but we still had a great time.everything was so so cheep,beer,to eat out and the people were so nice.my 2 daughters 20 and 17 teen thought it was the best hol that they had had as there is lots of discos bars for them.they are going back next year with a group of friends.beach was lovely only.very cheep for jetski ect.

Sunny Beach was great with loads to do for all ages, my kids tried archery and also the Bungie Jump they had a brilliant time. Tried the cocktails at The Avenue bar which were really good and really cheap, also the staff were really friendly and a good laugh. Resort is so cheap the most we paid for a meal for the four of us with drins was £14.00 - Highly recommended.
