We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

Beaches

The resort is brilliant, loads to do for all ages, there are so many bars and restaurants that your only problem is which to choose.
We had 2 16 year old lads with us who also had a great time.
Beaches were very clean and the only problem for me was that the sea had sea weed floating in it and I dont like that.

Resort and beach are great. Entertainment is not bad, the marina is the pub to go to the band are no 1. There seems to be a lot of black beatles about at night, and I mean a lot, dont harm you but they are everywhere.Khans tent is a waste of time see a better show for free at the dolphin.

The resort of Sunny Beach was a pleasant surprise. The resort itself is very clean with teams of female street sweepers and flower beds growing along the promenade walkway. Prices were lower than expected in bars and restaurants and there are three McDonalds kiosks in the resort.
However, the number of very young children as young as 8 or 9 riding around at high speed on electic scooters was a major concern.
There are many activities along the beach, para gliding, jet skis , kids bungie jumps, inflatable slides and lots of shopping opportunities. Food kiosks sell everything from ice cream to pancakes and the number of stalls selling roast meat on spits is worth a second glimpse.
To travel around the resort, local buses are regular and cheap - 1/2 a lev or a regular little 'noddy' train pulled by Landrovers transports visitors around the resort for 1 and 1/2 levs a ride.

the resort was about 10 metres from the beach, a sandy beach at that and a bonus when every other beach on holiday seems to be shingle. the black sea was very clear with its fair share of seaweed , but we are in the sea so what do you expect if not that.
we had 3 swimming pools to choose from very child friendly not very deep, a certain concearn for a lot of families. cleaners were seen all the time sweeping around the sunbeds removing peoples rubbish.the only gripe if any is the lack of toilet facilities around the public areas during the day.
the reataurants during the day was excellant, and remember to wear something decent during lunchtime as you will be told to cover up, and rightly so! the restaurant staff were very helpful in cleaning away and the bar staff also clean and helpful.
the holiday village was obviously the place for families to go before the 2 hotels were built. ours was on the top of the hill with a lovely sea view it was small and basic but this is not a five star hotel and that needs to be appreciated we found it to be comfortable and regularly cleaned.
there were a few housemartins flying around that make no nuisance and can be fun to watch.the entertainment for kids was excellant but for adults it needs to be looked at and improved you are very much a captive audience and they can decide to put on any so called entertainment.the kids reps need to stick to being kids reps and the resort needs to invest in some family entertainment.
we would definately visit elenite again and in 12months to 2 years time will probably be spot on! it has the weather (80/90 degree)and the shopping (sunny beach) and for now very affordable prices.
we have been all inclusive 3 times and we put this above tenerife for the things that we had on offer. yes it has got some steps to negotiate but we knew that when we booked, what we didnt know was just how much we would enjoy a holiday in bulgaria

I found the cleanliness quite good and the street cleaners were out that early in the mornings we did not see or here them only a few times.
A good places to visit if staying at this end of resort would be The Dolphin Restaurant or The Windmill Restaurant which both put on live shows every night for free.
From our rooms we were able to watch and here the beach cleaners every evening around six to seven oclock. The life gaurds are very good and keeep a good eye on a very safe beach.
The only problem with the resort is the mini scooters and motor bikes which fly up and down the promanede all day long.

The village shares the beach with 2 other hotels drinks are available on the beach along with hotdogs, bacon sandwiches and pizza, Sunbeds tend to be reseaved with a towel and its a good idea to get down before 9.30 for a chance of a sunbed. The water is crystal clear and you can walk out a long way and its only about 3 feet deep. Parasailing is 75levs (£30) for a tandem jump and the banana boat was 10 levs (£4). Massage a must aound £15.00 for half an hour. Dont forget to buy T-shirts from sunny beach around £4 for a fake nike etc. Fake watches are also a must for £3 for a calvin klein and they are still working.

The resort roads and beach are very clean.Little electric motor bikes were being driven up and down by children as young as six years old-an accident waiting to happen on the promenade. You can buy all those things that you did not know that you needed, leather belts ,CD's and DVD'S, fake fashion and fast food.

Very clean resort, excellent beach, gently sloping with lovely tideless warm water. We were told that there were jellyfish about 200m off shore, but didn't hear of anybody who got stung. Lots of bars & clubs to suit every taste, all at excellent prices.

Sunny Beach is Blackpool in Bulgaria.Very built up and very busy in peak season. The resort was reasonably clean as long as you didn't look to hard. The entertainment around the resort ranged from karaoke bars to loud cocktail bars or bars and restaurants with a live band. The quality of the beach was good, but unless you wanted to pay nearly ten pounds for a sun lounger and parasol your better off by the hotel swimming pool. The people of the resort seem quite rude unless your giving them money.Food and drink is exceptionally cheap and the quality changed for place to place.(stay away from chicken and pork whilst there).I dont think I would visit Sunny Beach again unless I wanted a VERY cheap holiday in a town that could be so much better if it wasnt so built up and over crowded.

This resort is very large - couldn't get over the amount of shops/stalls there were. Bulgarian's very friendly and always said Hello. The Beach is brilliant. Very clean and loads of eating places in the area. It cost 18L to hire 2 sunbeds and a parasol for the day. I couldn't really say where the best places are to eat as one place was always better than the other. The food was excellent and very cheap to eat out as was the drink! An average price of 25-30L for a bottle of wine, 2 starters and 2 main courses!! This works out about £10-£15 - not bad:-) Anyone staying in this resort will be very pleased they went there.
