We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Sunny Beach is very clean and cheap, wide variety of shops and restaurants. We preferred the beach in the southern area of Sunny Beach as it was not quite to busy and not nearly as much seaweed there.
Nessebar is lovely and is well worth a visit, also a visit to Khans Tent is a must, a really good night out.

The resort was clean it had plenty to do loads of cool pubs i dont think it had many nightclubs to be honest, but the pubs stay open so late that you dont really need nightclubs. Would highly recommend the wee cocktail bar in front of the golden apple.
The beach was clean and tidy they did you charge you for the sun lougers and parasols so be warned. There was people floating around the beach with cold cans of beer and a bloke offering massages, this seemed to be popular.
If your looking for an afternoon away from Sunny Beach would highly recommend that you get the boat in front of the Victoria Palace and head over to Nessebar. Its a bit market you get great copies of designed gear.
Please bear in mind that this is a very poor country and there are a lot of beggars in the street who will approach you and quite possibly touch you in order to get money. A bit annoying but you get used to it.
Oh!!! and it is soooo cheap! Its fantastic!.

Sunny Beach is a place I will never be visiting again. It was to overcrowded, noisy and catered mainly for Germans.
There were beggers everywhere, and these awfull scooters trying to get past the thousands of people walking across the sea front.
It is a poor country and this reflects when you go to spend a penny for example having to pay to get your piece of tiolet tissue from some very poor looking ladies, who might I add if are not given any money will curse you, and not give you any paper.
The front is like Blackpool on a bank holiday everyday, and there is nothing of interest in the resort, the front is filled with wooden shacks where you can buy anything fake, and it is very difficult to find anything genuine, so do be on your guard.
There are dancing bears in resort, so be warned it does go on.
The beach was fairly clean, the draw back here was the price of sunbeds being fairly expensive, on the other hand you can buy inflatables and use them, but you will have to clear your patch of rocks which have been put down in the free zone area. These people have to make money and do it anyway they can, I had a lifeguard giving me his life history about how poor his family was, then in his last sentence he asked if I needed anything and he would get it, they are all out to make money, because it is such a poor country they have to make there living the best way they can.
Maybe when they join the euro all this will make a better change for them, but even then I will not return.

We hated Sunny Beach. To many shops selling rubbish and copies, very noisy, very pushy people who chase you down the Street.Found the locals to be not polite and miserable. We found the Bears on chains upsetting. Babies and children begging. Ladies of the night selling themselves. We just could not find a quiet restaurant or bar just banging music. The first country I have felt unsafe in. This was the most stressfull holiday we have had. In my opinion not for families or those who like to chill out.The only good thing I can say is the beach is lovely. But I would never go back to Bulgaria or Sunny Beach

The resort itself is clean. It really lacks entertainment as very few bars had live music they mostly played cds. The beaches are clean and there is plenty water and beach sports for all ages.

We went with an open mind after being transferred from Russalka. The first week the weather wasnt too good, there was alot of seaweed blown in and it was disgusting. The sea is warmer than the swimming pools which on the second week did not look at all inviting. There was more water activities on the 2nd week. Paragliding(didnt find out the price) jetski hire was 35 leva for 10 mins. banana rides 10 leva. canoes 10 leva for an hour. This resort is nice if you want a quiet holiday by the beach or pool and a week would have been plenty. There is a boat to Nessebar, 10 leva per adult. we found this a lovely place and quaint. Elenite needs alot to improve it with the amount of people being able to use it with the 2 hotels aswell. We found out while we was there that alot of Bulgaria is run by the Russian Mafia and there was a shooting at the top of the hill while we were there. There are alot of gypsy kids in Sunny Beach begging.
CLEANLINESS- kept very clean and there is always someone mopping so floors can be quite lethal. Especially the little lady outside loos in the entertainment hall, bless her!!!
ENTERTAINMENT- Bulgarian animation team we liked and their shows were good, better than the FC reps singing!!!Towards the end of the 2nd week got a bit too much.
BEACH- could have been cleaner, we found glass. On a windy day there was lots of seaweed, otherwise sea was quite clear. certainly a lot warmer than the pools. A lot of the sunbeds were broken and quite dangerous.
We wouldnt visit Elenite again, we thought that it was like being in Butlins, if we went again in the future we would go to Sunny Beach self catering as it is so cheap to eat.

Beach seemed to be very clean in the first week, but during the second week you started to notice that there was lots of litter and some glass on beach. A lot of the sunbeds were broken and these were just stacked up on the beach and not removed. My husband even saw a lady pick a syringe up off of the beach and put it in the bin.
On some days there was also a lot of seaweed on the beach.
Need more watersports as only 2 pedaloes and 1 jetski.

We found the resort to have everything anyone would need . there were lots and lots of bars, resturants, shops and nightclubs. you could also use any hotels swimming pools if you didn't want to use the swimming pool at your own hotel. The beaches were very clean and vast with lots of water sports available. The sea was safe for youngsters as it had a gradual incline going into the sea.The streets themselves were kept really clean as well with sweepers cleaning them all the time.
