All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

Sunny Beach is growing into a very large reort with lotrs of new hotels. Still a nice area with plenty to do all day and all night. Very clean safe shallow beach with life guards on duty all day
If you want something quieter it would be better to look at one of the smaller resorts

beach was great. loads of room and well kept
lifeguards on duty
plenty of shops to wander around. even though they all sell basically the same they are interesting and have plenty of fake bargains

Sunny beach is a really nice clean place.Cleaners always on the streets.Has many bars and entertinment places.People are really nice also plenty of shops,plenty to spend your money on.We have always enjoyed the resort.4 years we have been going now and already looking for prices for next year.I hope this will help people in the future.Good luck with your holiday.

The resort reminds me of Spain 25 years ago - therefore it will be at least 25 years before i would go back (if ever). The Bulgarians moaned so much about being poor - one girl on a stall said she got paid 5 levs a day (rate : 2.70 levs to £1) yet she had a very modern mobile phone clipped onto her clothes - i just didn't get it. Was robbed by a taxi driver for a 2 minute journey.

We found the resort to be very clean.There was'nt much in the way of entertainment,you'd have to get a taxi to sunny beach for that!The beach was lovely with plenty of water sports,there was a jetski[which did not pull the banana boat as someone else said!],parasailing wind surfing,doughnts and pedaloes.We would definately visit this resort again.

Sunny Beach is expanding at an alarming rate and there is a lot of building work going on all over the resort. Please be careful and check with your travel agent before you leave. Even the new 4 and 5 star hotels in the north of Sunny Beach looked out on to building sites

Brilliant resort, plenty to see and do was amazed at the size of it. Beach spotless, restaurants are varied with plenty of choice and the food was excellent. Plenty of bars, shops, cocktail bars along the promenade too.Worst part was the dancing bears, thankfully only seen two of these, and did not see anyone pay to see them actually dance, this side of things is awful and is pretty sickening to see, hopefully when they join the EU this will be banned.

the resort was clean and tidy as was the beach which was really nice. the entertainment is mostly live bands although there is a fer clubs which are open all night. i would visit this resort again as i really enjoyed it and most of the people are really friendly. the only thing i didnt like was the way they follow you around shops this makes you feel quite uneasy.

Sunny Beach has to be one of the cleanest places I havre been to (and I have travelled to many European countries as well as Africa & America. Local people send ages ensurng tat everything is spotless. Resoer entertainment was greatas was the beach itself. Absolutely loads for the wee ones and shops for the teenagers!!!. We came home today and will be booked for next year by the end of the week and if weare really lucky we may manage a week in September.
