All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

sunnybeach is a lovely place to go on holiday,there is loads to do everywhere you go people are always saying hello,most of the pubs have entertainment you won't get any at the hotels,there is loads of shops and pubs,lots of things for kids like funfare,bikes to hire,kids cars face painting parks everywhere, the beach is really really nice
so clean there are 2 water parks at each end of the beach ponys loads of things to do, i would defenitley be coming back, if i had money i would be there just now,it was thunder n lightning when i was there and it did not spoil a thing for us (great place).

resort clean with even roads (would recommend it for people with walking difficulties or wheelchair)resort entertainment varied with bars for queit drink, live bands and loud (boom boom) music for teen's all open til reasonable hrs
beach clean with fine sand little bit of seaweed, sea declines very gently which is good for young kids
will be back to this resort 2005 as still did not do what i wanted to do kant's tent, para gliding and beating my 12 yr old on on the quad bikes!!

Dirty, scruffy big mess!! Sunny beach is tiny it's dirty and full of beggers! The hotels are all like big flats it's a horrible horrible place!! I'll never return

Sunny beach : every morning cleaners out cleaning the streets restaurants and bars very clean.
Loads to do and see very lively.
Beach was great lovely golden sand and plenty of it.

We found Sunny Beach to be a large lively resort. Our children loved it as there is so much going on. My husband and I thought it was a bit brash but lots of fun - not somewhere we would go on our own but great for a family holiday.
The beach was large and very busy. There are sunbeds and umbrellas for hire and quite a few water sports available. At lunch times the fast food stalls were great - I am usually quite fussy where I eat but after having a good look round you get to know the best stalls - particularly the chicken kebabs and pancakes....mmmmmmm
There are lots of restaurants and bars for the evening which served a wide variety of food - the most popular being steaks/kebabs.
We did not experience any problems at the resort but on the flight back meeting up with other people staying there we heard a few horror stories - but sometimes these can be exaggerated to make interesting telling!

The resort itself is clean. Slightly off putting the amount of young children begging in the streets and bears being bullied into dancing. Plenty of restaurants and pubs with great entertainment. The beach is 100% with life guards working as servants.A cool beer always nearby!! Plenty watersports. Great resort for anyone. Would definetly go back. Splendid holiday!!

There are loads of clubs nearby which we really liked as well as beautiful bars and restaurants which were fantastic and really reasonable in price.
The place was really clean considering how it looked on the way home at night time. By morning time it was always beautiful and all cleaned up.
There was lots of young people there which really suited us as it was quite lively at night with most clubs open until aroun 4am. The bars close to the hotel however were closed earlier so no matter what time you went to bed you had a decent sleep.

Loads to do out and about in Sunny beach and your money goes a very long way.
Lots for all the family with plenty of family entertainment on offer in most of the pubs with the clubs reserved for the young and trendy!
Countless restaurants which are brilliant value for money.
If you want to go further afield try and book a private taxi as the ones at ranks tend to be more expensive.

Sunny Beach really nice place, had heard some horror stories but found it lovely and clean. Lots to do and food and drink really cheap, didnt have any problems with the people. Very friendly and helpful very warm and beach spotless.
Plenty to spend your money on but so cheap you will come back with some! Bulgarians copy everything trainers ,bags, jeans etc.
Really enjoyed holiday and have booked again this year,plenty of entertainment for all age groups, also lots of bars which the locals are always trying to get you in( only down side at times).
In general a very good value holiday but be quick before they go into EU as this will have a big effect on the resort.
