All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The resort of sunny beach is not for invalids as it is not wheelchair friendly and the curbs are all 10"high, the roads are not made for walking on , as it is hazardous with the traffic. i must say the people of bulgaria are some of the nicest i have ever met it is a pity that the tour operators do not have their honesty.

Sunny Beach is a lovely resort, with plenty of restaurants and bars. I went for a relaxing holiday and that is exactly what I got, nice pool, nice beach, nice food - what else can I say!!

Sunny beach is a lovely place to visit. we found the beach very clean and we were not bothered with people trying to sell us things.
Plenty of shops and places to eat and also very cheap.
We spent a lot of time on the beach playing games. All in all we loved sunny beach.

Elenite has little to offer, other than a taxi to Sunny Beach.

main part of town very clean although building development taking place in many parts.many bars and restaurants,a large percentage of which provide entertainment of some kind,usually live music of some kind.blue flag beach cleaned daily by team of cleaners.if we were to go back to bulgaria,the answer is yes

Sunny Beach has always been one of my favorite destinations but was quite shocked this year the centre of Sunny Beach was all finished but both north and south there were building sites every where the greed of the property people evident every where in a year or two it will probably be lovely but right now they are building like they did in Benidorm and destroyed the place,Dislikes the Bears in Sunny Beach are a disgrace as well as the Iguana’s the snakes and the Alligators please don’t have your photo taken with these animals,I was also going to go on one of the horse and carriages until I went for a walk out of town and saw one of the drivers whipping the horses with a big cane right across the faces then stabbing it in the sides,Likes the Aquapark is brill well worth the money but beware if you pay a child price your children will only be allowed on some rides if you are with them the entrance is 24 lev 12 for children the food prices in there are quite reasonable water price is not also double check that the slides are empty before you go as I was told to go but my grandson was stuck in the slide and was lucky not to hurt him bad,Gypsy camp well worth a visit taxi will cost between 7 & 10 lev very good show,also Dolphin which is right up the north end past the Helena Resort bit expensive compared to the rest of Sunny Beach but well worth it if you want a special night and the food is excellent,Lazy Day Cruise good day if you have got your sea legs not too sure of the video of the day just watched ours and not too happy with the way they have over layed music on top of all our comments seeing that we were asked to say something into the camera,best exchange rates were in the Bellevue Victoria Hotel and any other hotel affiliated to them 2.80 lev to the pound,Scooter problem it is not just electric scooters now they have mini motor bikes that kids are allowed to use top speed about 30 miles an hour this will not stop until a child is killed and I hate to be the one to say this in the two weeks we were there we only saw minor accidents but it is going to happen a new one now is quad bikes on the beach and electric golf trolleys, just seen the brochure for next year and I don’t think things will change in Sunny Beach for at least two years with the work that is planned for next year, I have loads of photo’s just got to publish them to the net.

Clean beach and lovely clear sea very safe for kids,but somewhat crowded.Loads to do,great parasailing,and cheap,only £16 each for ten mins.Taxis everywhere,agree price first but very cheap too.Do not drink in hotels,they are way more expensive than the local bars,use smaller bars and you can find beer at only 35p per pint.Best breakfast in the fat cat.

When i arrived in Bulgaria and asked "whats sunny beach like?", i got the response "its like brighton!" and they werent wrong.
However - we enjoyed ourself at a beach bar until the early hours.
I wouldnt visit the resort ever again, after getting ripped off at the exchange bureau!!

Sunny Beach could really have been anywhere (eg. Blackpool with heat). There was a vast white-sand beach with plenty of water-sports; a long promenade lined with bars, restaurants and cheap souvenir shops; loads of mopeds, gopeds, 4-man bikes, police on bikes etc. Several of the bars have entertainment, and if that's not your cup of tea the bungee jumpers and bucking broncho riders are quite fun to watch. There's also continuous happy-hour at many of the pubs and cocktail bars. But its not 'real Bulgaria'. Try a 2nd week in the mountain resort of Bansko for that - a much better taste of Bulgaria we felt.

Everywhere was very clean and tidy, we hardly saw any rubbish lying around at all. You are obliged to pay for some toilet facilities in the bars and hotels (around 10p) but they are kept reasonable clean as a result. You would be hard pressed to not find something to do or a restaurant you like as there are lots. The beach was really clean and the sea very warm, warmer than the hotel pool. The people were the best, sometimes you had to take the trouble to talk to them but then they were very friendly. I would go back tomorrow if i could
