All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

the resort at night was filled with over flowing bins and flyer tossed on the ground but in the morning it was spotless again so its all due to the tourist!! the resort entertainment could be better but its more for the younger side now not familys. the beaches are beautiful you just have to find a part of the sea with no sea weed

lots of rubbish left about. ideal for young single lads lots of sex shops on every corner also strip clubs and street begging not ideal for a family with young children.beach was nice sea there was lots of jelly fish though only thing what spoilt it. would not go back to suuny beach.

sunny beach resort not enough litter bins.beach ok far to many sun beds. if you just like shops pubs cheap drink its for you.excursion.bulgarian village night very good.

Sunny Beach is perfect for the people who need to relax, have fun and don't want to visit a lot. In the resort there are just hotels and clubs, restaurants, shops.
I could see rubbish everywhere on the street as it's sometimes hard to find a rubbish bin there. The entertainment is perfect. From discos, bars to paragliding and other water sports. The beach is very nice but you have to pay for the deckchair and umbrella so if you want to go there everyday be prepared for spending money.
You can find many excursions organised by local tourist agencies and they are really worth going on.
I like Sunny Beach really much and I think I may come back there one day.

sunny beach seems like a new resort just finding its feet.it has lots of bars,restaurants and shops.we stayed at the quieter end of the strip which seemed to finish early.the other end was much livelier.we got ripped off on one of the rickshaws.we got charged 40 levs to go from halfway to the top of the strip,we thought it sounded dear but it was our first time on one (and last)so we paid it.we asked back at our hotel ivana palace,and were told it should have been about 10 levs so always ask a price before you get in.entertainment was very middle of the road.teens and twenty somethings were having a great time on their party crew nights at various dance bars.it is however crying out for a rock club.the beach is gorgeous and everyone is very friendly.

The resort was not a comfortable surroundings to walk in with people on pedal bikes beeping horns for you to move also street trains tooting also. At night you had to keep your hand on your money in your pocket as with the street girls kerb crawling taking your hand trying to pull you onto the beach these girls also grab the men in the private body parts its disgusting. So dangerous for young boys out alone at night and after a few drinks they are so vunerable.NEVER AGAIN will i be in Bulgaria never mind CHAIKA beach hotel.

Always plenty to do in Sunny Beach. We had 3 days of rain this year but found a bowling alley to kill some time till the rain went off. Beach was fab although it was 7 levs per sunbed and 7 levs for a brolly. Taxi costs had gone up too - remember to get a price before you set off.

Sunny Beach is fab! Dirt cheap and you can get a lot for your money! Personally id say it was more for the younger generation as it has a massive strip by the beach which is bouncin 24/7 all the bars and clubs are open 24/7!
Theres bars pubs and clubs, left right and centre and ur spoilt for choice!
So much to do in Sunny Beach we loved it! Loads of lovely places to eat out.
Beach is lovely, clean and theres always a bar on the beach which is good news, be aware that you have to pay to use the toilet whilst your out so keep your small change handy!
Definately coming back, just to a different hotel!

When i wnet to Bulgaria i stayed at SUNNY Beach, the resort is OK, but everythings the same, all the shops, the resturants, the fastfood.. Although the nightlife did look really good i can say, but i did not go in any of the clubs.

The resort is beautiful set right on a clean beach. It is a gated complex so safe if you have kids. The free entertainment is in the animation hall which gets packed. The hall is unsafe with slippy wall tiles on the floor and are quite dangerous when its packed and drinks spilled. The spiral stair case collapsed when i was in. We missed 2 nights entertainment due to power cuts. There is entertainment at the beach hut and the piano bar but you have to pay for drinks which are the same as in England if not more expensie. There is water polo for an hour through the day. The resort is out the way so you feel like your stranded and everything is very repetative.
