All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The main square offered lots to do drinking shopping eating ect.
The beach was clean and always a choice of sun beds.
The resort had lots of different entertainment for all ages pubs had parks for youngsters on the beach and water sports for the older children and adults.

Typical holiday resort, Very good for what it is but not much culture
We had a fantastic time, prices very cheap.
People were very friendly and i felt safe, did not see any trouble. Day/night trips available. Nightlife varied, from quiet restaurants to lively bars and clubs
Standard of hotels looked excellent, Ours was small and friendly (Orpheus) others were more opulant and spectacular (Victoria Palace, and Chaika, Globus, Marvel)
We had a fantastic time, prices very cheap.
People were very friendly and i felt safe, did not see any trouble. Day/night trips available. Nightlife varied, from quiet restaurants to lively bars and clubs

Great resort with lots to do. Various types of bars, from quiet, karaoke, disco bars, and bars with entertainment on.
The gypsy camp is a must a fantastic show with great food, free admission and very cheap food and drink. the Spider bar is 2 for 1 at 5 lev for vodka and tonic (working out at about 90p a drink) and a great group called Lora on for easy listening.
Had a good meal at Djannys, but it is very busy in the evening and sometimes saw queues outside. Didnt have any problem with Prostitutes only saw about 5 on the corner of the square, and didnt find them that pushy with people but we were a group of families.
Only saw 1 bear and didnt see anyone giving it the time of day, maybe the owner will get fed up if everyone does this. found most of the locals great however the staff in the 24 hr supermarket next to the victoria palace are down right ignorant, they practically throw your change at you, and if they havent got any change throw a few loose sweets at you. 19 of us travelled and had a great time from 12 yrs old to teens, to 40+ all of us are going back next year.

Resort was cleaned every day during the early hours but more litter bins along the beach strip would help.
Plenty entertainment along the beach strip, many bars with all ranges of music for different tastes.
Electric scooters & pedal bikes can be a bit of a pain, along the beach strip when very busy.
Beach areas very mostly clean, with sun bed pitches divided up by the locals, average 6 Lev (£2 per day), plently bars & fast food outlets.
North end of Sunny Beach is the quiet end away from disco bars etc.

Cannot fault resort, excellent, wide selection of bars and restaurants, very friendly and helpful, very clean, cheap and cheerful.
Plenty for the children, sea very clean and safe, beach sandy but watch your feet for ciggie ends!!!
Would visit the resort again but choose diffrent hotel next time!!

What a cracker, this resort is fab.Restaurants are great and very good value for money,not many places were yiu can get a meal for four, beers and soft drinks for less than £15.00 .No hassles lovely weather you really dont get much better.
Give it a go you will br surprised.

sunny beach could do with more entertainment for the children as there are only a few around otherwise a good holiday destination

We were staying in the Sunny Beach area.
The area was cleanish , but there were a few areas of uneven pavements etc , which was sometimes tricky for older people and young kids.
There was various entertainment in the area, clubs, casinos to live music in various bars, although not too busy for the time of year we travelled.
There was no sign of any trouble.
The area has three waterparks , the Actionpark being the biggest and best.
The beach area was clean with many forms of entertainment/ bars sited along its length. There are also mountains of sunbeds running as far as the eye can see , which includes a free area , back from the coast line.

Stayed in Sunny Beach plenty to do for the kids for about twenty minutes each night.
No bars just to have a drink and listen to some music very much geared to eating out which is fine but would like somewhere to go to relax after dinner. Did not like seeing kids playing music begging for money, or mothers with new born babies throwing the cup under your nose as you eat dinner for money.
I was shocked and stunned to see a bear being dragged up and down with the ring through its nose just for pictures.
There are plenty snakes and lizards for this but thats just as bad.
Golf buggies , mopheads and bikes showed be banned from the promenade someone is going to be injured very badly.Shops or stalls very much the same stuff in all of them although cheap.
