All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

i really really like sunny beach resort. the only thing is it needs to be tided. the beach was a bit dirty and so was the streets. i did not like aswell the beggers on the streets and the ladys of the night everywere you go. aswell the beach could have more walk ways.but sunny beach haqd everything you could think of.

Very busy resort withs lots of nightlife. Golf buggies go up and down the strip at ridiculous speed and nearly run you over. The staff in many places try to short change you so be sure to count it.
Watch your money like a hawk. We heard of one womam who had money taken out of her purse when she went for a massage.
The bulgarian people are not particularly friendly. I think they need to be more friendly and make sure their service is catered much more to the needs of their visitors otherwise I don't think many people will go back.

Well,the prices have gone up,last year we paid 4 lev for a kebab this year it's 5 lev,slice of pizza 2.50 lev last year less than 2 lev,mcdonalds we never ate there for the kids as it's more expensive 7.50 lev for a happy meal..
crazy golf 7 lev for adults 5 lev for kids,bouncy castle 5 lev for 15 mins,bottle of coke 1.30 lev and this is looking around in Sunny Beach
If your were to eat along the promenade the main stretch along the front ,forget it for a family of four,,you'll need an open cheque book,the must place is for sure djanny's bistro which you you do just get value for money,,,for e.g,,
2 barcadi black 2.50 lev each
coke for kids about 20pence
chips 1 lev
half a chicken 3.50 lev
garlic bread 60 pence
full loaf 12 pence
skewers 1.50 lev
bottle of wine 7.50 lev,some cheaper
As you can see its the place to eat I could keeping going on about that place all night,,we ate there for the whole holiday.
Well as far as fakes are concerned,,they too have gone up in price,,ok it's still cheap but compard to last year. This year I couldn't get a pair of jeans for less than 65lev where as my hubby got 3 pairs for 90lev and cut to his size as well.
We've been twice now,and it got a bit boring for the kids unless you have a hotel that's got entertainment.
Last time, never again,try some where else next time,,
Oh, Wizzair who we flew with the best flight we've been on. On time and service brill couldn't fault and it was cheap.

The resort is great with a beautiful beach and plenty of watersports. There are stalls that line the main road which sell everything from trinkets to clothes. You can really pick up some bargins!
There are also plenty of bars and resturants that cater for both adults and children and they have many food and drink offers available.
Only downfall really are the kids riding mopeds down the main road as it can get really busy with people.

we tried many bars and restarants,but found the condor and djannies the best value although its annoying to find upon visiting their toilets it costs 50 stotinkis to use them.beware of the happybar located in the rightside of the square leading to the seafront.we were charged almost 11 levs for 2 and a half pints of beer.we loved sunnybeach and found it catered for everyone.one word of warning,4 seater electric buggies and electric scooters are hired out to anyone and can be seen speeding along the seafront/promenade and in the squares.i am sure a pedestrian is going to get badly hurt or killed before long

Very little entertainment for children especially in the evenings unless their fond of bouncy castles and crazy golf. Be careful of rip off taxi drivers, a trip within Sunny Beach should be 10lev in the day and 15 at night but they still try to charge you a lot more.
If visiting Nessebar go on the bus it's only 0.40lev each but the taxi drivers try to charge 30 lev.
Aquapark is worth going to for the kids and there's a free bus there on the main road, Khans tent is a decent night out. Wasn't impressed with the trip to Varna and it's Dolphin show, not the best value for money.
If your struggling for a decent meal visit the Hotel Helena's fish restaurant, by far the best meal we had in out two week stay.

Plenty for all ages entertainment wise,beach very good,thought £7.50 beach beds excessive.

Sunny beach is good, clean and cheap, plenty to do in a week, if youre staying two weeks, may find things a tad boring as you will have done most things in the first week.
Would recommend going.
