All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

Having never been to Sunny Beach before, we went with an open mind, it was fantastic, the beach is superb, with all kinds of restaurants and fast food outlets all down the front, at night the resort really comes to life, we couldnt believe how big and busy it was. The bars stay open really late, we are already planning to go next year, 10/10.

we have been visitin sunny beach for 15 years and just love it.the beach is very clean and it is blue flag awarded.
the entertainment is ok but every restaurant play the san=me set for the whole season so you are better going to different restaurants.I would reccomend the white house and the lotus is also good for food.
Coctails and dreams is good for all coctails and after 8 pm it is happy hour and the drionks are strong. Tyanko is an excellent waiter there.

Wouldn't visit this resort again as there were too many beggars didn't think my children were safe there and constantly had to keep a close eye on them plus whilst there we did see eveidence of pick pocketing and was nealry pickpocketed myself.

If your holiday dream is hundreds of stalls all selling the same fake designer gear, dvds and underwear, then Sunny Beach is for you.
Family entertainment in the resort is more or less and non-entity, searched high and low for suitable entertainment for my 4 and 8yr olds, just wasn't there.
The infastructure in the resort is abysmal, what footpaths there are are mostly broken and in a very poor state of repair.
The main promenade that runs the lenght of the resort, was more like a motorway, you had to dodge the gauntlet of golf cars, scooters, bikes, horse & carts, taxis, as well as the thousands of tourists , a teriffing experience when you have two small children with you.
I hope that the Bulgarian authorities will step in and take control of the situation, if they want a long term tourist industry to thive, because at the moment I just couldn't recommend this resort for a family holiday, fine for couples or groups maybe.
Have to give a mention to Djannys Bistro, has to be the best restaurent in Sunny Beach, don't be put off by the queue outside, never had to wait any more than 10 mins.
Meat on the rapier and on clay tile fabulous, but the portions are huge.

we stayed in sunny beach for two weeks this year and a week last year,if you like shopping you will love it as it is so cheap and very good quality, a promenade runs for miles and is full of shops and bars and the people are really friendly.there is a place called nessebar with cobbled streets and again lots of shops and bars only 20 levs by taxi each way which is only about 8 pound a good day out.the beaches are clean and the beach bars are nice to sit at the end of the night with some entertainment.

The resort is very commercialised which I was quite surprised about thers hundreds of hotels, bars, resturants and shops.
The neptune bar is a very good place to visit in the evening they have 2 live acts on one is a Elvis impersonater and the other a group of lads that do Oasis, Steriophonics, Robbie William, Queen etc both acts are very good infact the Elvis impersonater is the nearest you will get to the real thing the neptune bar is on the sea front between the helios hotel and the bungee jump.

Sunny Beach seemed very nice when the sun was shining, but once it rained it was a very different place. There are no drains in Sunny Beach (or hardly any) and so when it rains the water level just rises and rises and when there isn't much to do in your hotel, you feel like you need to get out, which is OK as long as you dont mind paddling.
I didn't like the way you are approached by beggers in the street, but it was mostly kids and it didn't happen to much. Just keep you hands in your pockets, or they will have their's in them!

The resort was really nice to walk through during the day but so very busy at night. Lots of bars, restaurants and clubs and endless shops and stalls.
The beach was also very busy but there were always sunbeds available. There were lots of rides, paragliding, jet skis, banana boats etc. and it seemed quite clean.
The sea was lovely and warm.
