All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The resort a must. Fantastic,,, I did a couple of trips, one to the blue mountains which I found it was a very long day on a coach.
The other was on our last night, we went to Karns tent, WOW what a night, it was like being in paradise, it was a 4 course meal then a wonderful show from all parts of other countries dancing. Please try and visit this place if you get chance, you wont be sorry.
We found one lovely restaurant so we tried to stick to that for our meals, it was called ATILA HOUSE they make fantastic Bulgarian food to try, for all those that put Bulgaria down for there food ....the message is, if you want English fish and chips then try Blackpool
Nessebar village is a lovely little old town run by the locals, great experience to visit, lots to learn from this visit, and so very very cheap.
For anyone that is thinking of visiting this resort then I wish them every enjoyment that we had.....HAPPY HOLIDAYS FOLKS X

Sunny beach is a great place for families and couples alike. There is plenty to do and it is really clean. The beach is really nice but watch your feet on the sand as it ccan get really really hot!!!!!
Everyone you meet in sunny beach is really nice and friendly, I have not got a bad word to say about the resort, and I will be going back next year and I can't wait!!!

There was a cleaner 24 hours a day always mopping the floors, toilets spotless, did not see any bugs, and got no bites.
One man playing every night was all the entertainment, bring some night lights with you for your balcony because all balcony the lights go out in all the hotels at 12 midnight, on the dot.
Beaches are clean although it does cost a bit 18levs = 9 euro a day thats two sun beds and a parasol which you need for shelter.

I have visited Sunny Beach Several times and would definately go back. The people are very friendly and cant do enough for the kids.
Take plenty of money if you like designer copies but the clothes will make you feel fat. I'm a size 10 and couldn't fit into a pair of large jeans!
Also watch out for the snake men. They throw snakes around your neck and if you don't pay 10lev for the picture, the maffia looking boss comes out and starts calling you disrespectful.
The beach is lovely but there were cigarette butts everywhere. Smoking was also a bit of an issue for me. Everywhere stinks of cigarettes. No hotel room is non smoking so you cant escape the smell.
Try to get a hotel you know is central as there are no real paths and red lights on pedestrian crossings mean nothing!
Take your holiday money with you too as the exchange booths will advertise a high rate but only give you the lowest one.

Resort reasonably clean. Plenty of entertainment and the beach was of a very good standard.

Sunny Beach is a great place. It was handbag heaven ladies!
Food and drink very cheap and lots going on. However, I would advise you check your bill as a few times they tried to rip us off.
There is not much harassment in the shops so generally you can browse as much as you want. We only went to the beach once but we noticed a few kids clubs around which is brilliant for those who bring their children.
All in all a very good holiday. Keep plenty of change for the toilets, they won't let you in unless you pay! Brothers Restaurant was lovely and Buffalo Bills did lamb to die for!

Sunny Beach is a very nice resort. Some great bars, an amazing beach and friendly enough people. It's mainly full of families and couples, but hopefully in a year or 2 it will lean towards having a mixture of everyone.
Be VERY careful of the gypsy kids and women.. I got my phone stolen when about 10 of them ran over laughing and smiling and trying to hug me, and I couldn't push them all away.
The police are, to put it nicely, corrupt! I dropped a leaflet, picked it back up and a 2-bob copper ran over demanding I pay him 20 levs or get locked up. Baring in mind they carry guns, I didn't fancy doing a runner so had no choice but to pay up.
My favourite restaurant/bar would be Bahamas, right on the beach.. Lovely (VERY lovely) waitresses :)
Aqua park was a good day.. but didn't do much else apart from eat, drink and sleep.

The resort is relatively clean we saw no stray dogs etc,and saw none of the horrors like dancing bears,snakes or begging children that we read so much about in these reviews.
The pavements in some places were a bit dodgy especially for those with walking problems.
Entertainment amounts to a duo in most places and although this is ok it would be nice to see a little variety.
The beach is the jewel in the crown and is cleaned every night it costs 12lev aay to rent a sunbed and brolly(£5)but there is free area just behind them.All usual water sports and parascending,Bananas,donuts.
We all agreed we would return again,its cheaper than and no worse than anywhere else we have holidayed.

I can write a million words about what I like about Sunny Beach. I`ll just have to say that I will come back. Over and over again. The resort is clean, have nice people, a perfect beach (especially straight down from Hotel Fenix)

Sunny Beach is a very nice place we have been twice and love it. big difference form last year is the number of touts tring to get you into their restaurants.
We recomend The Arizona steak house near the hotel Evrika, the restaurant BRIS which is next to the Hotel Victoria and has an excellent Bulgarian folk show everynight including a fire walker for free so dont pay for an oganised trip to see what is for free here.
and our favorite DJANNYS to find this gem walk up the main street past the Kuban Hotel(keeping it on your left)cross the main road at the lights and walk straight on about 150m after the crossroad is the best resaurant in Sunny Beach Djannys beer only 0.90lvs a pint in there.
Another really good place to unwind is the L.A BAR which is run by Kevin & Bella a british run bar which serve British beers and ciders as well as the local brews, They have genuine cocktails there not like the weak fizzy pop serverd on the main prom. Try them you wont been disapointed they are in the northern end of the resort and are tucked away between the two Victoria Palace apartment blocks and across from the Hotels Marvel and Majestic.
the happy hours in the L.A Bar are from 9pm to 11pm we recomend the Posh Spice & Black Lady cocktails.
