All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

It was our second visit to Sunny Beach in two years and we don't plan to return because it is too commercialised now. Last time we went there were lots of activities for children but most of them have now been replaced by bars and shops.
The beach is fantastic and the sea clear and warmer than any of the pools we were in.
Best night out was at Southern Nights - food and show excellent. Our favourite restaurants are Djanny's, The Condor and The Jupiter.

Sunny beach is a really lively resort and definately has something for everyone. There is a definite laid back atmosphere about the place which we loved. There is lots of opportunity for those of you who are shopaholics to spend your cash at any one of the stalls which pave the main street. Whilst there we used the jet-skis, hired a golf cart, took a boat trip to Nessebar and a coach trip to Bourgas. The night out to Khans tent is an absolute must if you visit this resort it includes a fantastic traditional bulgarian meal with unbelievable entertainment. We found it very reasonable with a large beer costing 80p a meal for three of us cost around £5.00 with drinks.
All in all we loved Bulgaria and will go back there. The only thing i hated was the fact that on a few occassions we saw the Romas with brown bears that they make 'dance' for tourists and offer a photo opportunity for a fee. I found this distressing as an avid animal welfare supporter so please, please, please avoid them and do not condone this inhumane act.

sunny beach we found very boaring not much to do most pubs where closed by 1.30am the place was over run with beetles and mosquitos

The resort of Sunny Beach was very poor on their drainage when it rained. If you were to walk out of your hotel after it had rained you could go for a swim the drainage is so bad.
The Resort entertainment could of been better.
The beach was very nice with no rocks not even a pebble.

Sunny Beach is very clean and the water is very clear and warm. Two sunloungers and a parasol cost £6.50/day.
Majority of Restaurants provide live music every night and all bars have football screens and loud music.
Transport by bus is very cheap and adequate. Majority of shops sell clothes.

The resort I stayed it was Sunny Beach. It was quite clean, but like nearly everywhere, there was the odd bit of litter. There is lots to do, especially in the evenings where there are lots of resturants,clubs and bars and places for cocktails.
The beach is lovely and the sea is not very salty. Its very nice with a beach bar every so often.
Id come back here and hopefully will!

Second time in Sunny Beach, have booked for next year already. Very cheap to eat out, average for 2 with wine/drinks/two coures was £13. Would not recommend Captain Cooks as didn't realise all garnishes were extra even butter which was not ordered. Check what is included in price before ordering. Villa Bora next to Oasis very good food. Great beach which is normally quite breezy and good beach bars. 2 beach loungers and parasol 18levs (£6). Happy hours in bars seem to last all night - please note you get 2 drinks together.

Fabulous hotel. Excellent location. Very clean resort.
Would definately stay in this hotel again.Very friendly staff. Have to be up by 8.30 to get a decent sunbed. 6 fantastic outside pools and 1 indoor. Excellent gym.
The only thing is there is not a decent bar in the hotel but many close by. Hotel food good although very cheap to eat out. Best place is just round the corner called Billys Bistro excellent beef steak for 16levs (£5).
Going to book to go back next year as very cheap before it goest to Euro pay abot 30p a pint in some bars deares place was hotel which was about a £1.

Sunny beach is a purpose built tourist resort so if you are looking just for Bulgarian culture it is not the place to be. If you are looking for a beach holiday then it would be difficult to not like it. The beach is beautiful, the people very friendly , the weather usually great and everything is very cheap.
It is becoming more and more commercialised but this is understandable as for many Bulgarians the tourist industry provides their only income. They are trying hard to provide everything tourists could possibly want and they are certainly getting there.
Everywhere you look in Sunny beach you see someone cleaning and sweeping. If it rains they even come out to sweep the water from paths and doorways! People do approach you to go into their bar, shop, restaurant etc. but if you refuse they usually say 'maybe another time, have a nice evening' they certainly don't give you any hassle.
We have been to Sunnybeach three times now and will certainly go back again.

We found Sunny Beach a very clean and safe place to stay and the people very friendly.
There are lots of shops and restaurants,brilliant designer gear at very cheap prices and also very cheap to eat out.
There were four of us to a family and it cost us about 25levs for all 4 of us to eat out at a restaurant which is approx £10.00.
I would recommend Sunny Beach to anyone.
